Miss McKittrick will become the bride of Thomas MoCleary of Connellsville, on Tuesday morning, January 16,. in 8 church wedding. Prizes were awarded to Miss Cecelia Flynn and Miss Anna Lapson with the guest prize going to Miss McKittrick. The party closed with a delicious duncheon served by the hostess. Gertrude Brier Marries Joseph Shober January 6 Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Gertrude Brier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Brier, of Mount Pleasant, and Joseph Shober, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shober, also of Mount Pleasant.

The wedding took place in Somerset on Saturday, January 6. Mrs. Shober a graduate of the Mount Pleasant Instiutte and for the present the newlyweds will make their home with the bride's parents.
