Philadelphia 3:30 NBC BY TERRY PLUTO Beacon Journal staff writer Cavs owner Gordon Gund says the team's move to the Gateway Arena for the 1994-95 season is on schedule. "Things are progressing better than I imagined they would," he said. "I felt good about the project when we agreed to the move, but I feel even better now. We are going to give the fans a great arena." The highest priced loges at the proposed facility are already sold out. "But what I'm happy about is that the City of Cleveland is coming through on their promises concerning security and parking," said Gund.

"They are willing to make the changes in the infrastructure (roads) that we need. "They are spending the money they said they would, and so far, everything is on budget." Gund also owns the Coliseum, but he gave no clues about what will happen to that facility after the Cavs leave. Tickets The Cavs open the season against the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. Friday and play the Charlotte Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Coliseum.

Only standing-room and obstructed-view tickets remain for Friday's opener. Tickets for the Charlotte game and other games are available at $26, $24, $20, $16 and $10 at the Coliseum box office (phone 867-8910) and Ticketmaster. The Coliseum box office is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2-6 p.m. on Sunday.

The advance sale window in the outer concourse, east side, is open during events. Ticketmaster locations are at May Co. and Video Towne stores. Ticketmaster's Charge-By-Phone number is 945-9400.
