The parts covered by tho new contracts are from forty miles south, and from the Norfolk and Western, at or near Koanoke Station, twenty-five miles uerth. Mills Rowlane, McMabon Green, Griffith Purcell, Fairfax A Ulgendal, Reynolds Angel, Newcomb Uoodloe, Best A Murchler, Walton Smith, Patrick Cogan and John Kawllngs are among the contractors receiving awards. Tte work is to be finished in October. It is quite poasibla that It will be all the construction necessary for the main line of the Shcuandoah Valley road.
