he on S. 3, EMMA LOUSE BELL Mrs. Emma Louise Bell, 74, a former Akronite, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, after a short illness. Born in Sandusky, she had lived for the last nine months with her daughter, Mrs. C.

V. Scott, in LaVale, Md. Mrs. Bell was a retired bookkeeper. She also leaves sister Cora Fischer of Sandusky, three grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the Wendt funeral home in Cumberland. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p. m. Saturday at the Mt.

Peace cemetery in Akron. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Hattie Parker --60 Years An Akronite Hattie Parker, 77, of 940 Amelia av. died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Satterlee, wife of the basket ball coach at South High School.

Born in Spencer, W. Mrs. Parker lived in Akron 60 years. A member of the Bethel United Mrs. Parker Meth dist Mrs.

Parker Church, she belonged to the Woman Christian Temperance Union for more than 50 years. Mrs. Parker also leaves a son, the Rev. James Parker of the Mundelein United Methodist Church in Mundelein, four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother William S. Hersman of Akron, and sisters Mrs.

Lora Cutright of Charleston, W. and Mrs. Dosh Swisher of Spencer, W. Va. Services will be at 2 p.

m. Saturday at Bethel Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Stampfle funeral home.

The body will lie in state at the church from noon until time of service Saturday. ELWOOD M. COLLEDGE Elwood M. Colledge, 60, a tire man for ACE Inc. in Northfield Center, died today in Barberton Citizens Hospital after a month's illness.

He was born in Bedford, and lived in Akron most of his life. He went to Bakersfield, last June and returned to Summit County last month, residing at 635 Wooster rd. Barberton. Mr. College leaves his wife, Estella; daughter Joyce, son Elwood, and step-son Daniel, all at home; sisters Mrs.

Winifred Miller, Springfield Mrs. Mary Worley, Crossville, Mrs. Jean Hughes, Barberton and Mrs. Betty Pector, Akron, brothers Henry, Akron, and Hines, Everett, Pa. and five grandchildren.

WILLIAM COTTLE William Cottle, 77, of Inglis, a former Akronite and 37-year employe of Goodyear, died today in Ocala, Memorial Hospital, after a two-year illness. Mr. Cottle lived in Akron most of his life and moved to Inglis 11 years ago.
