been investigating refrig erators since it has been so warm and found just the one I want It's a Seeger Siphon sold by Ayres Co which more nearly ap proaches the ideal in a refrigerator than any other ever seen This refrigerator size for size contains more room in which to put food than others and is apparently much more sanitary The Ice is stored on the side and by means of a continuous air circulation (patented) preserves the food and prevents intermingling ot odors The lining is white enamel But I must tell you how this refrigera tor is constructed irst there is the oak case then rope and linn felt: next a passage for dry air then comes the Inside wood lining and lust of all the enamel lining Certainly a re frigenitor that would last a lifetime preserve nod indefinitely and use the least possible Ice Another refrigerator that pleased me almost as much as the Seeger Siphon was the White rost This kind is perfectly white inside and out is round and has shelves that revolve making the fond always easy of access The salesman showed me how to clean it and it was surprisingly simple Another kind I liked was the Beld ing whose peculiar feature was a white porcelain lining all in one piece If you're trying to get along with an old fashioned or poorly constructed refrigerator to see these will convince you of the folly of doing so longer Garden Hose Three exceptional values flowing white robes are not led to perform this cere mony and we shall have nothing to do with It" replied the pastor slowly but firmly Undaunted by the rebuff Mrs Plum strode into the water and made straight for the cross now well out in the current Before she could reach it she was swept off her feet and was quickly in a struggle for her life Of all the thousands who saw her Gilbert Porch saw that she was really drowning and jumping into a launch managed to get her ashore where she was resuscitated PHILADELPHIA June Insisting that she must be baptized in her own way a woman who gave the name Mrs Sophie Plum came near drowning in the presence of at least 2009 spectators on the Delaware River banks at Gloucester She was rescued in the nick of time by a man in a launch and was afterward re vived in a nearby building The big crowd was thoroughly thrilled by the exciting spectacle aa the woman endeavored to reach a rude cross planted in the river about twenty yards from shore The Rev William Pickersglll head of the Helping Hand Church Gloucester had announced several days ago that there would be baptism in the river yesterday But there was some hitch in the program Mrs Plum was anxious for the ceremony but she insisted that she must be Im mersed seven times in accord with her conceived notions of biblical Injunction Pastor Was Doubtful Pastor Pickersglll said he could find no authority for such a ceremony and when he appeared before the crowd on the shore he announced that the ceremony would not take place He had helped plant the cross in the sand with rocks about its base when the tide was Irw just as Mrs Plum desired but there would be no cere mony there will exclaimed WARDEN REUSES MAN SENTENCED TO 49 YEARS Kansas orger Convince Peni tentiary Officials He Was
