Journal ERNLEY The new ernley public safety com plex is open and offering many services to local resi dents for the first time Margaret Morris is the secretary for the complex which Is located in the old Ag Services Building on the main street Lyon County Building In spector Jack Moffitt will be in town every Tuesday from 1 to 3 pm Steve Tuttle is the full time inspector at the complex Their phone number is the same as that of the ernley utilities also housed in that building Residents may pay their water bills at the utility of fices and they may also ar range for water turn ons and turn offs Watermaster John Morrow and his assis tant Bernie Beebe are working out of this office Mary Love the perma nent public health nurse is handling Immunizations a well baby clinic family planning venereal disease counseling and other simi lar health programs She is in her office on Mondays from 9 am until 4 pm and also may be seen by ap pointment on Wednesdays Buzz Gibbs of the juvenile probation office will be in the complex on Thursdays Two physicians from al lon Medical Group have of fice space at the complex Dr Kurt Carlson and Dr John DesMarteau will be in ernley on Thursdays Jail a good one though it has coughed up escapees repeatedly during its first year of operation and though Sheriff rank Weston once emptied it for security reasons know you think you have a bummer but
