Workman is our pioneer blackemith; he was mayor once and made one of the best mayors this town ever had. The Independent ticket was gotten up by the anti-joint element and represents that class of citizens. The other ticket is called a Republican ticket, still Charley Foltzand John Siceloff are democrats, so we understand there is no politics in this election. This brings the "joint" or "no joint" tip as the issne, altho tjiose on the "Republican" ticket do not like to be dubbed a "joint ticket" certain none of them are joint patrons. Their claim is for a "business" administration.
