He was a member of 1st Congregational Church of Tallmadge, Inez LflOge No. 672 Thomas H. White, 79 years of Akron, died Sunday at St. Thomas Hospital. He was a life resident of Akron.

Tom retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1982, after 32 yeas of service. He was a member of Local 856 and a member of the Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church. Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Goodwin, He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara of 45 years and family friend, Helen Loewen-guth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E.

Exchange Rev. Fred A. Schmidt, Jr. of Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church will be officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Memorial Park.

Jessie Elmer Poling, 82, of 308 Brabble Street, Maple, N. died Saturday, October 30, 1999 at Chesapeake General Hospital. He was bom in Caldwell, Ohio. He was the son of the late Hiram and Sarah Elizabeth Stiles Poling; and was the husband of Minta Lois Day Lerch Poling of the residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army during WW II and was employed In security for Firestone Tire A Rubber Co.

He was a Protestant. Mr. Poling is survived by a daughter, Martha Lee Hensel of Barberton; a step daughter, Minta Jeanne Davis of Coinjock, N. C. and a step son, Donald C.

Lerch of Norton; two sisters, Ruth Sawyer of Clinton, and Grace Russell of N. Canton and a brother, Charlie Poling of Akron; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a step daughter, Nancy K. Lerch. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, November 2, 1999 at 11 a.m.

H. Regional Medical Center in Elyria. He is formerly of Akron and Carroll-ton, Ohio and drove trucks for C.C.C Highway, Inc. of Canton, Ohio, retiring in 1984 after 33 years of service. He Is survived by wife, Ruth son, Charles E.

"Ned" Keller Edward R. "Ned" Keller, 86 of Brady Lake Kent, died Friday, October 29, 1999, at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.

He was bom February 27, 1913 in Ravenna to Theodore and Lila (Smal-ley) Keller. Ned served in the 3rd Army in England during WW II as part of the 945th Field Artillery Battalion and earned the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Keller worked as a machinist for Superior Mold Die in Stow. He was also a former member of the coast Guard Auxiliary.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Crotchett) on December 10, 1998; and by brothers, Leland and Jack Keller. Survivors include his sons, Robert C. of Columbus, Kevin (Sue) of Colorado; daughter, Linda (Gary) McKisson of Cuyahoga Falls; two grandchildren; and brother, Ted Keller of Mentor. Calling hours will be held 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday at the Bissler Sons Funeral Home in Kent where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Edward P.

He worked as a foreman at Goodyear and retired in 1982 with over 30 years service. He served in WW II in the 3rd Division of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church and belonged to the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Sponsl Club, a member of the church choir and lay minister, past President of Tallmadge AARP, and a member of the Goodyear Foreman's Club. Preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; he Is survived by daughter, Cecilia (Donald) Elmerick of Tallmadge; son, Steve Farkas of Munroe Falls; sister, Emma Sofran of Uniontown; grandchildren, John Elmerick, Susan (Matt) Bard, James (Kathline) Elmerick, Andy Farkas and Stefanie Farkas; greatgrandchildren, Jamie, Kristine, Melissa, Benjamin, and Caroline.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bernard J. St. Jean of N. Ft. Myers; two sons, Michael R.

of Deerfield, Ohio and Steven B. (Bonnie) of Stow, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth A. (Stephen) Campbell of Wallingford, eight grandchildren; brothers, Armand L'Etoile of San Diego, Calif, and Roland L'Etoile of Amhurst, sister, Madalaine Bedard of Spring Hill, Fla. and her mother-in-law, Antoinette St. Jean of Pawtucket, R.I.

Henry was a life resident of Copley and retired from Wean Industries in 1982 after 42 years service. He was a member of the Firestone VFW and a member of Bath United Church of Christ, attended Copley High School and earned a degree in Biology and Home Economics 1 1 from Kent State Bas Roberson Young, age 70, passed away Sunday morning at Akron City Hospital due to a recent illness. He was bom in Lawrenceburg, Tenn.

on June 4, 1929, later moving to the Akron area and residing in Manchester. He graduated from South High School in 1945, attended the University of Tennessee and was a graduate of Kent State University where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was enrolled in the Air Force Aviation Cadet School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired in 1989 from the Goodyear Tire Rubber Co.

Lyle loved life and living things from hoot owls to tired hunting dogs. He raised pumpkins and loved the children who came to buy them. He was the ever dapper man about town. He was an avid reader, always quoting poetry and spinning yams. Most of all, Lyle was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was married to Hazel (nee Druckenbrod) for 53 years. She preceded him in death in 1988. Still together in his heart, he patiently awaited their reunion. Lyle leaves five children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Children (spouses), Yvonne (George) Kolbenschlag, Janice (Glenn) Moore, Elaine (Chuck) Slaybaugh, Karen (Mark) Kindel, and Lyle Kimmel grandchildren, Doug (Lori), George Daniel and Peter Kolbenschlag, Chip and Greg Moore, Chuck, Chris and Julie Slaybaugh, Lori and Marlaina Brott; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Brittany Moore, Zach and Tyler and Nathan Brott, Sara, Cassie and Daniel Kolbeschlag.

We will miss him. In a life surrounded by people, he had no acquaintances, only friends. The family will receive friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. with Masonic services at 6:45 p.m. at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown where funeral services will be held Tuesday 10 a.m.

He came into this world a miracle from God on August 31, 1999.
