Your daily guide Judy Woodruff will join CNN after leaving 'MacNeilLehrer' Judy Woodruff, chief Washington correspondent for PBS' MacNeilLehrer NewsHour for nearly 10 years, will Join CNN next month as an anchor. Woodruff will co-anchor Inside Politics with Bernard Shaw and World Today with Frank Sesno, replacing Bobbie Battista. Woodruff, with NBC News for eight years before MacNeilLehrer, and husband Albert Hunt, moderator of CNN's Capital Gang and Wall Street Journal Washington bureau chief, have three children. Financial problems shut down filming of Chuck Norris series Chuck Norris' Walker, Texas Ranger series, shut down production because of financing problems. Chris Pearce, president of Walker's producers, Cannon Pictures, blamed a delay in bank financing.

CBS ordered a two-hour premiere and 11 one-hour episodes. Only the premiere plus two other episodes are ready. Walker will begin next Wednesday before moving into its 10-11 p.m. Saturday slot April 24. CBS renewed Carroll O'Connor's In the Heat of the Night lac a seventh, 1993-94 season.

History channel coming Cable's Arts Entertainment Network will launch a 24-hour History TV Network, or HTV, by fall 1994. HTV will show historical documentaries, miniseries and movies.
