COMPLETES THE -LIST Belting Asks Place--Is Not Needed. Shortstop Brady, from the Louis Cardinals, Is the latest recruit to be added to the Decatur Three- free baseball team. according to word received here Monday President of the club, J. A. Corbett.

Peoria Star. -Phillip Poland, an perienced outfielder, residing in Boston. has accepted terms' with Peoria and will report here early next week.

That Is the latest choice morsel granted Peoria fane by Manager Hoffman of the Distillers. Poland has had three years' experience. with Providence and one with, Baltimore in the International league and last season played with Trenton in the Tri-State, batting .324 in 105 games, scoring 51 runs and stealing 37 bases. As a fielder he had 225 putouts, 17 assists and 6 errors in the 105 games for an average of .976. WILL BE COMPETITION.

The addition of Poland to the tiller list means that there will be competition in the outfield after all. Up to Poland's acquisition. but three outfielders were on the list. Hoffman, Wooley and Singleton. Hoffman' belleved that better results could be obtained by a little competition out in the garden and when Poland was found to be he immediately wired terms.
