Sunday, January 2, 1972 GRAND PRAIRIE DAILY NEWS Page 3 n' vows, ceremonies during holidays Mrs. Terry Anderson Anderson Freeland Miss Winnie Sue Freeland became the bride of Terry Anderson in a doube ring ceremony at Burbanks Church of Christ in a ceremony performed by Dr. J. H. Wright Tuesday evening.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Freeland of 1614 Clifton Court.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Anderson of 426 36th ASt.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a waistline silhouette gowirf'ot candlelight with a high neckline. The gown of imported silk nand French imported Alencon lace was accented with a full skirt sprinkled with lace appliques on the pearl trimmed ruffles. Her long full sleeves, tapered at the wrists, were appli- qued lo ce and baby seed pearls. Her veil of matching candlight lace fell in tiers of illusion from her flowered and seeded headpiece and she carried a bouquet of red and white carnations. Serving as maid of honor was Miss Debbie Freeland, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Miss Debbie Anderson, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Larue Bush, Miss Judy Cloud, Miss Kandy Knox, Miss Debbie Smith and MissShugTrigg. Flower girls were Shelly Anderson and Wendy Gail Johnson of Irving. Tommy Derden of Dallas served as ring bearer, and candlelighters were Scott Anderson and Denny Cox. Mike Arnold served as best man. Groomsmen were Ray Bean of Irving and Randy Rabeck, Danny Donhew, Tommy Farrow, Dennis Brumbley and Robert Henley.

Ushers were Gerald Daniels and Mike Derden of Dallas. After a reception at the First Baptist Church, the couple left for a wedding trip to Red River, N. M. The couple will live in LaTruim Place in Arlington. The bride is a 1970 graduate of Grand Prairie High School where she was a cheerleader.

She attended Dallas Baptist College where she was a cheerleader and fraternity sweetheart to Alpha Phi Omega. The bridegroom is a 1968 graduate of Grand Prairie High School and is a senior at the University of Texas at Arlington where he is a member of Kappa Sigma. Mrs. Donald Ray Walker Walker Clingan In a double ring ceremony performed Thursday evening by the Rev. Gene Reynolds at Inglewood Baptist Church, Miss Helen Gwen Clingan became the bride of Donald Ray Walker.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton B. Clingan of 529 Dorris. The bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Curtis. H. Walker of 104 W. Tarrant Rd.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal white gown of bridal velvet with wrist length bell-shaped sleeves accented with a scooped neckline and an empire bodice. Her neck, sleeves and train were accented with imported pearl of illusion trim. Her fell from a finger tip veil of sheer illusion headpiece of hand rolled bridal illusion bordered with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses, rose buds, carnations and lillies of the valley. Miss Sharon Massey served as maid of honor, and Miss Cathy Walker, sister of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaid.

Carl Siddall of Duncanville served as best man, and Ronald Sullivan of Hurst was groomsman. Ushers were Brad Clingan, brother of the bride, and Rick White, Sammy Hyde, and Mike Adamcek. After a reception in the church fellowship hall, the couple left for a short wedding trip. They will live in Grand Prairie. The bride is a 1969 graduate of Grand Prairie High School.

She is a junior majoring in history at the University of Texas at Arlingtoa She is also employed with the American Institutional Mortgage Company of Grand prairie as a loan processor. The bridegroom is a 1969 graduate of Grand Prairie High School and is a junior majoring in physical education at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is also employed with Payless Cashway Construction Company. Wedding music was provided by Sam Starr and Mrs. 'Charles Fisher.

Douglas Starkey, cousin of the bride, was candlelighter, and members of the houseparty were Mrs. Lynne Starkey, Mrs. Sandra Siddall, Mrs. Linn Raper, Mrs. Susan Rosson and Mrs.

Linda Shults. Mrs. Kirk Randall Evans Evans DuBose Miss Sharon Evon DuBose and Kirk Randall Evans were married in a New Year's evening double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Ernest Duncan at Fairview Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Joel F. DuBose of 1634 Small St. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Charles E. Evans of Wills Point. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of white French chantilly lace appli- qued on white satin and accented with a Sabrina neckline and a full mantilla veil which fell from a capped lace headpiece. Her sleeves were of sheer leace and her empire waist was embellished with a bow. Her veil wad was trimmed with lace.

She carried a bouquet of large white carnations, white bow, ribbons and a white Bible. Miss Sara DuBose, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Mrs. Susan Rosson was matron of honor. Miss Bonnie Evans, sister of the bridegroom of Wills Point, was bridesmaid. Candlelighters were Miss Sherrie DuBose, sister of the bride, and Mark Evans of Wills Point, brother of the bridegroom Charles E.

Evans, father of the bridegroom, of Wills Point, served as best man. Groomsmen were John Holt Jr. of Dallas and Stan Jackson of Dallas. Ushers were Larry Rosson, Sam DuBose, brother of the bride, and Rickey Creed, cousin of the bridegroom, of Arlington. After a reception at the church fellowship hall, the couple left for a wedding trip to Toledo Bend.

They will live in Boulder Ridge Apartments in Oak CLiff. The bride is a 1968 graduate of Grand Prairie High School and is now employed with the Army, and Air Force Exchange Service in Dallas. The bridegroom is a 1968 graduate of Wills Point High School. He is majoring in criminology and sociology at East Texas State Unviersity. Mrs.

Randall Jay Burum Burum Smith Miss Sharon Elizabeth Smith became the bride of Randall Jay Burum Friday evening at the First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie. The Rev. J. H. Wright officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lester Smith of 112 Tarrant Rd. The bridegroom son of fylr.

and Mrs. Joe B. Norton of Monahans. The bride, give in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of ivory silk cloud satin. The empire line of the gown accented the pearl embroidered ruffled heck- line and long tapered sleeves with pearl trimmed cuffs at her wrists.

The attached bouffant train unfolded from the back yoke and fell to chapel length. She wore an embroidered mantilla of princess lace which fell softly to chapel length. She also carried a bouquet of white gardenias and baby's breath. The bride was attended by her sister Miss Pamela Sue Smith and iss indy illoughby of Fort Worth. Doug Harrison of Garland served as best man.

Ushers were Steve Niblett of Fort Worth, James Powell, Ren Lee and Mike Lynch, all of Arlington, and Brad Norton, brother of the bridegroom. Miss Mary Jane Conner of Spur provided wedding music, and Miss Saura Murray of Dallas read a selection from The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. A reception followd the ceremony at the Ramada Inn. Members of the house party included Miss Susan Goering of Dallas, Albuquerque Mrs. Sandra Drummond of, N.

Miss Kathy Bentley of Austin, and Miss Sher Moffett of Wichita Falls. The bride is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, president of Sock and Buskin Drama Club, and vice president of Alpha Psi Omega. She was a member of the 1971 All Star cast and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in drama. The bridegroom graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He is employed with Texas Oil and Gas in Dallas as an accountant.
