W. H. Force left Sunday to return to Lansing after a few days' visit with the Rev. Mr. and Mrs.

William P. Richardson Jr. of 302 North Harrison street. James Miller of 506 East Loomis street returned Monday to his home after having been a patient at Hackley hospital in Muskegon. Ludington Elks Gingham and Blue Jean dancing party scheduled for Wednesday evening has been postponed to Wednesday, April 9.

Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Bradford and son Douglas returned Sunday to their home in Mt.

Vernon, 111., after a brief visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. McCoy of 315 North James street. Mrs.

Ernest Engel of 808 Diana street is convalescing at Hackley hospital in Muskegon where she underwent surgery Saturday. She may be addressed there at Room 362. James Pierce came Saturday from Ann Arbor where he attends University of Michigan, to spend his spring vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy V.

Pierce of 207 North Rowe street. Mr. and Mrs. C. Pinckney Reid left this morning to return to their home in Memphis, after having been at Epworth where they inspected their cottages Beach Knoll and Linwood and Mr.

Reid attended an executive board meeting Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan W. Anderson and son Marc and Mrs.

Ed Shappee returned Sunday after having spent the past three weeks in Florida. While there they visited Mr. and Mrs. L. G.

Jebavy at Miami, and also with friends in DeLand, Fla. Mr. Anderson has resumed his studies at Michigan State college in East Lansing. Mr. and Mrs.

Harry A. Dues have returned to their home at 601 East Melendy street after accompanying Mr. Dues' father, William J. Dues to Detroit where Mr. and Mrs.

John W. Goff. Mrs. Goff is the former Ruth MacLaren. Before going to Kalamazoo, Mrs.

Butler spent several days with her husband, Capt. Butler, before his ship, the SS Princeton sailed from South Chicago, 111. Oliver J. DeJonge of 114 North Emily street, who is in Boston, attending the American Association of school Administrators, is expected to Wednesday. Bud DeJonge and his sister, Miss Norjna DeJonge, who are home for spring vacation expect to leave Sunday, Miss DeJonge to return to Grand Rapids where she is a student nurse at Blodgett Memorial hospital, and Bud DeJonge to Ann Arbor where he attends University of Michigan.

Movie Is Shown to Lions Club A colored moving picture "Pipeline on Wheels," showing gasoline tank truck safety, was presented to Ludington Lions club members at their meeting Monday evening at Hotel Stearns. The movie was shown, by Don Myers. Dr. A. E.

The report also revealed that the company's investment in telephone plant increased more than $2,000,000 during 1951 and totalled $19,946,583 at the year's end, while invested capital increased to $17,371,738. The return on the average invested capital during the year amounted to 4.94. Taxes, which are a cost of doing businesi, together with excise taxes which are billed to telephone users, amounted to about $2.15 per month for each telephone in service, according to the report. Through its facilities, the company was serving 85,279 telephones in its 75 exchanges in Michigan at the end of the year. Girl Scouts Send Box to Hospital Girl Scout Troop 4 has sent an entertainment box to the Herman Kiefer Hospital for Crippled Children in Detroit.

The girls made scrapbooks and collected Christmas cards. Donations from Mrs. Harry Turner of 204y 2 East Melendy street and Mrs. Charles Cobb of 509 First street provided crayons, scissors, glue, color books, dot books and picture puzzles for the box. The box contained material for 15 children.

Gerald R. Adamczyk, 20, are completing their Air Force basic airmen indoctrination course at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas. Pvt. Lemire is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

C. L. Adamczyk of Ludington Route 1. Sweetwater PT-A Meeting Planned SWEETWATER SCHOOL Sweetwater School Parent- Teacher association will meet Wednesday evening at the school gymnasium. A program has been planned for the evening.

At the March P.TrA meeting, plans for a party and talent show to be held in April were made. To Give Program An assembly program "Matchless Musical Moments" will be presented at p. m. Wednesday at Oriole hall by Andrew DeCosta and Miss Lenore Ferrari. Mr.

DeCosta's versatility as manifested in his mastery of every musical instrument in the band has won him an enviable nationwide reputation.
