SUBMITTED Cooking up a storm Shaquille Burgess, a Greenwood High School senior and Culinary Arts Student at the Career Center, recently placed third in the Food and Beverage Management Event at the 2011 Skills USA Competition in Anderson. Burgess was awarded a $500 tuition scholarship from Johnson Wales University, renewable for up to four years. He is the first Culinary Arts student from Greenwood County to place in the competition.
