ADDRESSES ROTARIANS W. I. Smith. Fire Prevention structor Gives Helpful Address And Demonstration of Fire Hazards. An address on fire prevention was delivered at the wool: meeting of the Delphos Rotary (in! by W.

L. Smith, hold instructor of fire prevention and fire departmert tr: The spaker called attention to 1 '11 114 bro hazards in homes and business places which should be climinated. He told of the great loss of life and of property incurred each year from fire. At the conclusion of the address, he gave a demonstration of spontaneous combustion and other fire causes, emphasizing the fact that most fires are caused by carelessness. The speaker was introduced by Melvin Westrich WiS in charge of the program.

Guests included Lewis Leonard, fire chief, Paul Stallkamp. assistant fire chief. and L. Morris and Frank Mitchell, of Van Wert. Robert Christy.

and Mrs. Ralph Ricker, both of near Delphos, were on the program for the 4-11 visors Recognition Banquet which was held at the Elida school Tuesday, March 10. The local 4-H Advisors as well as all advisors in the Allen County area, were invited to attend this banquet. This banquet is another of the various activities which had been planned for 4-H week, March 7 to 15. The entire program presented at the banquet follows: Toastmistress, Joy McConnell.
