Former Local Resident Dies Mrs. M. P. Irwin, of Lima, for. merly of this city, died at her home Tuesday morning.

She had been in ill health for some time past. The Irwins formerly lived on North Canal street and are well known here. They left Delphos approximately ten years ago. Surviving Mrs. Irwin are: her husband; two daughters, Miss Winona Irwin Mrs.

Max Neal, both at home; and a "grandson. Funeral arrangements have not been learned here as yet. Hunters Return With One Buck Casper Fossell and B. L. Jauman have returned from their annual deer hunting expedition in the vicinity of Coudersport, Pennsylvania.

They have in their possession one buck, and consequently, once again the Eagles will have a venison feed. These hunters have provided the Eagles with a venison feed for a number of years. Watching For Shoplifters Shoplifters are being warned not to ply their trade in Delphos. A shoplifter was caught Saturday night in a local business place. Chief of Police J.

S. Link states that local police are making every effort this year to protect local merchants and will not hesitate to take shoplifters into custody.
