64, passed away June 25, 1998 at Akron his home. Bom Apnl 22, 1945 in Kentucky, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by Bom in St. Joseph, Ohio, she had been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for 43 years.

An alumna of Akron City School of Nursing, she served in the United States Army as a nurse during World War II. and City Hospital. A life long resident of Akron, he retired from Goodyear Tire Rubber Co. in 1993 with 42 years service. Dick is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth of 46 years; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Pack, Gail Mabel T.

Taylor BARBERTON Mabel T. Tavlor, age 87, passed away June 24, 1998. She was bom January 9, 1911 at Grantsville, W. Va. She was was preceded in death by husband, Hartey; daughter, Eveline Collins; and son, Dearl.

She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren; brother, Tracey Richards; and sister, Maxine Knight, both of Belpre, Ohio. Pallage on Aug. 12, 1952, he died on March 16, 1961. A member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Josephine Circle at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, and a graduate of Wharton High School, she attended Findlay College, and graduated from Ohio Northern University.

She first taught at Wharton High School, one year in Suzanne (James) McCoy of Akron; brother, Joseph W. (Debbie) Young of Georgia; sister, Kelly (Eugene) Springer of New Mexico; three nieces, one nephew, one great-nephew; special friend, Kathy Henry; many other family members and friends. She was an accomplished artist and had a lifelong involvement in the visual and performing arts. She worked for many years in the Theatre Department at The University of Akron, retiring in 1994. She was a dedicated member of Chapter B.V.

of the P.E.O. Sisterhood in Akron. She is remembered as a devoted wife and mother, and a compassionate and spiritual partner to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Herbert of Akron; son, Allen of Lafayette, daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jamie Robinson of Kent, Connecticut; son, Jon of Akron; grandchildren, Ian, Lars, and Ann Robinson, all of Kent, Connecticut; and many dear friends. Born September 23, 1907, in Akron, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Stoll) Hausch, and had lived in Akron all of her life.

Mrs. Peete retired from the Saalfield Publishing Company of Akron where she had been a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include a nephew, Jack H. (Deane) Hausch of Akron; niece, Mrs.

John (Alice) A. Hurd of Kent; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Peete in 1960; and a brother, Harry Hausch. He was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. He was a member of Marysville Christian Church, a charter member of Akron Baptist Temple, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Palestine Lodge No. 158 and a member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Akron. He enjoyed woodworking, driving, good conversation and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and Christian. He was born October 13, 1932 in Almo, Kentucky to Woodrow Wilson and Isola Workman Billington.

He married Marian Virginia Jones on December 14, 1951 at Akron Baptist Temple and she survives. He was preceded in death by his father. In addition to his wife, Marian Billington; he is survived by his mother, Isola (William) Workman Everingh-. am; and a sister, Patty Miller, both of Reseda, a stepmother, Eleanor Billington of Akron; a daughter, Debra (Jim) Sykora and grandson, James Robert Sykora, both of Uniontown, Ohio; a son, Mark (Bonnie) Billington and a granddaughter, Bethany Jo Billington, both of Marysville; and many nieces and nephews.
