Telephous 2717 Cinemascope to Be Installed At Regent Here A Cinemascope screen and sound system is being installed in the Regent theater here and the opening of the new unit is scheduled for the week of December 20, it was announced today by Dalton B. Burgett, owner. A curved, wide screen, twice as large as the present one, is being built to order and will be installed, in the near future. The new stereophonic four-track sound system will include 12 amplifiers on the stage, which will carry the sound from the point of cnunciation and there will be six new speakers in the auditorium proper.
