He was born November 1, 1941, the son of the late James Vincent and Louise Hoke SanMarco. John was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of Plum Boro American Legion Post 980.

He was a member of St. Barbara Church. He worked for a number of years at Danny Donuts and was a Wilkinsburg Police Officer prior to working for Bessemer-Lake Erie Railroad Police for over 20 years before they closed. He then worked for Dunkin' Donuts in Murrysville for several years. He was the beloved husband of 48 years of Philomena Mercurio SanMarco; loving father of Lisa Marie (Shonder) Bontempo and the late Michael John SanMarco; wonderful Pap of Camden, Lorenzo, and Lianna Bontempo; brother of James SanMarco, Jr.

Send condolences SHEAP SUSAN TILBROOK Passed away peacefully at Providence Point Health Center on Friday, February 20, 2015. She is survived by Robert D. Sheap, her husband of 47 years; by her brother, James N. Tilbrook of Pompano Beach, Florida; and by her nephew, James, Stephen and Scott, all of Florida. She was a resident of Pittsburgh and Ft.

Myers, Florida. She was born in 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, to James N. and Robbie Tilbrook. After receiving degrees from Stephens College, Miami University and Western Carolina University, she taught in California a number of years then in Florida and Georgia and as a guidance counselor in North Carolina. Her favorite age group to teach was third grade.

She enjoyed to travel and visited all 50 states and 46 countries. hobbies beside to travel included dogs and horses, reading, movies, Republican politics, and music. Meeting people was her particular forte as she was a gregarious, outgoing person who loved to stop and strike up a conversation. A Memorial Service is planned in the Galbreath Chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair, Pittsburgh, on Friday at 10 a.m.

He was born an only surviving child in Smithfield, Pennsylvania to David and Mildred Snare, who predeceased him. Following in the steps of his grandfather and father, he started his career working in prisons, moving later to probation and parole. When he retired from the state of Pennsylvania after thirty years, he became a drug and alcohol counselor, Weidman and Charlotte Snare; and step-grandsons, Henry Strawn and Ben Pontius. He served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Lebanon Valley College and the University of Pittsburgh, where he received a master of education degree.

Following in the steps of his grandfather and father, he started his career working in prisons, moving later to probation and parole. When he retired from the state of Pennsylvania after thirty years, he became a drug and alcohol counselor, volunteered for organizations that mentored youth and supported the families of those sentenced to life imprisonment. Send condolences STARR EILEEN MARGARET (DRENNAN) On Monday, February 23, 2015, age 86, of Middlesex Valencia, peacefully at home after a long illness. She was born October 23, 1928, in Buck Hill Falls, PA, the daughter of the late Harry J. and Edith W. Drennan.

She graduated as salutatorian from Barrett Township High School in the Poconos Mountains. She received a B.A. in English from Penn State University in 1950 and taught at Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson, PA. On January 31, 1953, she married H.

Paul Starr, Jr. of Valencia; they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in January. Mrs. Starr enjoyed traveling, gardening, and reading. In addition, she was an avid fan of Penn State football and the Antiques Road Show.

She was also a docent at Hartwood Acres in Allegheny County, past President of the St. Thomas in the Fields Women's Guild, a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, Girl Scout Brownie Leader, and active in the Woman's Club of Butler County. She was always ready to experience new places and took pleasure in seeing different venues such as Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Africa, Ireland, France, Great Britain, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Greece, and Italy. She also traveled extensively in the United States, visiting all 50 states except North Dakota. She is survived by her husband, Paul; and sister, Helen Rumberger (William) of State College, PA.

In addition, she is survived by her four children, Eileen Florence Starr (Timothy) of Bowling Green, KY, H. Paul Starr III (Annamarie) of Valencia, PA, Linda Edith Starr McNamara (Thomas) of La Jolla, CA, and Donna Starr-Deelen (Bart) of Kensington, MD. Her beloved grandchildren include Maura Francis, Brendan Thomas, Margaret Eileen and Claire except North Dakota. She is survived by her husband, Paul; and sister, Helen Rumberger (William) of State College, PA. He is survived by his sisters, Violet Starsnic and Rita Jones; his brother, Paul Starsnic; and many nieces and nephews. Frank had a 21 year career in the military, serving both in the U.S.
