Her seamstress talents will be missed by many of her family and friends who relied on her for all their alterations. Eleanor helped at many church dinners. Send condolences ROSE JOANN M. (LEWIS) Age 83, of Unity Township, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born May 19, 1931, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late James B. and Elizabeth (Hays) Lewis. Joann worked with her husband as co-owner of Triangle Products, Latrobe, and was a lifelong member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Active in the community, Joann was a frequent volunteer at Adams Memorial Library in Latrobe and was a dedicated member of the YWCA Bowling League. She was a longtime member of Charter Oak United Methodist Church and most recently attended St. Paul United Church of Christ, Trauger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gilbert W. Rose; three sisters, Doretta Collins, Velma Price and Grace Lockerman.

She is survived by three children, Elizabeth Deemer and husband, Jeffrey of Kaneohe, HI, Barbara Lubic and husband, Jeffrey of Latrobe and Gilbert B. Rose of Malden, MA; five grandchildren, Alison, Carly, Jacob, Margaux and Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.
