She died from complications of a bone marrow transplant at the age of 64. Kathleen was a devoted mother to Kathryn Jamboretz Keersemaker (Mark) and Ryan (Naomi) and a beloved grandmother of Mark Theo, Cecelia and Kasha. She was a dear sister, dear aunt, and friend to many. The oldest daughter of Margaret W. and Leo M.

Paradoski, Kathleen is survived by her mother and six siblings: James (Sue), William (Ann), Peggy Field (Ron), Patricia, Robert (Linda) and Mary. As a youth, he played for the St. Louis Cardinals pep band, and was a scout leader at various are scout camps including Irondale. Richard was born February 17, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Richard Benson Berry Leta Lodema (Rowland) Berry.

He married Joan Widicus Harrison on August 8th, 1954. They were married at Eden United Church of Christ in Edwardsville by the Rev. H. Bredehoeft. Richard graduated in 1954 from the University of Illinois with B.S.

in Metallurgical Engineering and was a member of the Illinois and National Society of Professional Engineers. He served two years as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Richard joined Olin Corporation as a Metallurgical Engineer in the brass casting plant and worked in various positions at the East Alton facility until May of 1983 when he was transferred to the headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Richard retired as the Executive Vice President of Olin Corporation in February, 1992 after 37 years with the company.

Richard served on the Board of Directors of Olin Corporation. He also served on the Board of Directors for Illinois Power and the Atlanta University Center. Richard was a member of the Edwardsville Jaycees as well as Eden United Church of Christ. Richard's favorite past times included golf, bird hunting for dove and quail, and fly fishing for bone fish in Florida and the Bahamas. His "Pipe Cleaner" bone fish fly is featured in Dick Brown's book on fly tying.

Along with his wife Joan, he is survived by three children and nine grandchildren: Richard Harrison Berry, his wife Mary, and their two children Katherine and Richard of Edwardsville, Illinois and Altadena, California; Karen Berry Finn, her husband Andy, and their four children Niall, Ryan, Liam and Leta of Park Ridge, Illinois; and Scott Rowland Berry, his wife Kate, and their three children Jacob, Analise, and Joseph of Crystal Lake, Illinois. He is also survived by his brother John Berry of Burleson, Texas and John's children Brett, Wendy, Bart, Jody and Robyn. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at WEBER RODNEY Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 am Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the funeral home.

Service ijL concludes at funeral home, upload photos Ciechanski, Aleksander a resident of Merritt Island, passed away in his sleep at his home on February 3, 2012. He is survived by his widow Maria Tunicka, former conductor of the Brevard Symphony and Space Coast Philharmonic; Berenika, a daughter in Poland. Mr. Ciechanski's 85 years were full of accomplishments and talents, the chief being his brilliant career as a classical cellist.

His early days were spent as principal cellist for the Warsaw National Philharmonic during which time he also was a member of the Warsaw Piano Quintet with pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman, the central character in the Academy Award winning movie Following his and his wife's move to the United States in 1968 Mr. Ciechanski joined the St. Louis Symphony where he served until his retirement in the late 1990s. A gifted craftsman and inventor, he engaged in many projects, especially the design and construction of his life-long dream, a 60 foot long steel-hulled sailboat on which he planned live and travel with his wife. Sadly, ill health kept him from completing it, but nevertheless he spent many happy days in the building process.

His final project was a hand-made cello, entirely fitting for a man who was such a master of the instrument.
