The major provisions of the contract are as follows: Carroll Institute will provide housing for up to 4 individuals per day in their facility at 327 S.

Spring, Sioux Falls; The County will pay Carroll Institute $111,330 in 12 equal monthly installments, and is allowed to review the bed utilization rates and other program modifications that may be contemplated prior to June 2016 to consider any necessary adjustments; The Sheriff's Department will provide transportation from the detoxification center or the jail upon a schedule determined by the Sheriff's Department to the Carroll Institute IVC Housing Unit, and transportation to the involuntary treatment program will be by existing protocol. MOTION by Barth, seconded by Bender, to authorize the Chairperson to sign the 2016 agreement between Minnehaha County and Carroll Institute for short-term residential substance abuse pre-treatment services beginning January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016 at a cost of $111,330. 5 ayes. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE Robert Wilson, Assistant Commission Administrative Officer, gave an update and status report of the 2016 Legislative Session on bills that impact Minnehaha County. MOTION by Barth, seconded by Bender, to adjourn into executive session for personnel and contract discussions.

Kari Winquist Victim Witness Assistant State's Attorney's Office 167 -1216 AGREEMENT Carey Deaver, Human Resources Director, gave a briefing on a one year renewable contract between Minnehaha County and Lincoln County for Human Resources Services.

Under the terms of the contract Minnehaha County Human Resources staff will provide support in person in Lincoln County for one day a week and by phone throughout the week during normal business hours. Lincoln County will reimburse Minnehaha County at the rate of $4,875 per month. MOTION by Beninga, seconded by Barth, to authorize the Chairman to sign a one year renewable contract beginning January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016 between Minnehaha County and Lincoln County for Human Resources Services at a total projected cost of $58,500. 5 ayes.
