Boitano died last Friday in an Elko hospital after a long illness. She taught in many Northern Nevada schools. Born Dec. 13, 1892, in Med-ford, she went to Los Angeles as a child and attended Los Angeles schools. She later attended California State Normal School, the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles.

She taught adult and elementary school classes in Los Angeles, and in 1917 went to Cor-tez, to teach. She married John A. Boitano in Elko Dec. 30, 1920. He died Aioert L.
