This marriage ended in divorce and Eddie married Elizabeth Taylor on May 12, 1959. They are now separated. He starred for four years on NBCs twice weekly "Coke Time" series and starred on his own show for NBC, "The Eddie Fisher Show" for two years.

Fisher has appeared in major nightclubs in Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas, and recently formed his own record company, Ramrod Records, after 10 spectacularly successful years at P.CA Victor. where, a short time later, he returned as a star. Since that time Eddie has appeared throughout the world, before presidents and princesses, before capacity audiences in England, Germany, Italy, France and Spain. He lias recorded 45 single records and 12 albums for RCA Victor. Four of his singles have been "gold records" (selling over a million).

They were: "Any Time," "I'm Walking Behind You," "Oh, My Papa" and "I Need You Now." Eddie Fisher married Debbie Reynolds on September 26, 1955. They had two children, Carrie Edttie Fisher, who recently resumed his nightclub work with highly successful shows in Los Angeles and in Las Vegas, is row headlining at Frank Sinatra's Oil-Neva Lodge at Lake Tahoe. Freddie Bell and his Bell Boys keep the Cal Neva Lounge at fever pitch with Billy Andre, Linda Leigh and Her Lads, and Willie Rostum, the Arab and his trio, blazing away in a continual round cf top-flight lounge entertainment. Although only in his early 30's, Eddie Fisher is already a legend in the entertainment business. His rapid acceptance by the public in the early 50's is comparable to the spectacular rise of Bing Crosby in the 30's and Frank Sinatra in the 40's. Fisher today has performed successfully in the four most important show business mediums records, nightclubs, television and films. Much has been written about the "kid crowd," Fisher really had arrived.

This happened shortly after the Cantor tour. The Riviera, a nightclub in New Jersey just across the river from Manhattan was scheduled to open one of its most important shows of the season starring comedian Danny Thomas and singer Fran Warren. The day before the opening Miss Warren was taken sick and a substitute had to be found. The Riviera's manager. Bill Miller, former owner of the Riverside in Reno, remembered hearing about Fisher decided to gamble on him, and got in touch with the youngster.

With an hour's rehearsal and a borrowed tuxedo, Eddie performed for the show-wide New York nightclub audience and brought down -the house. Eddie's career as a singer began at the age of seven when he entered and won numerous amateur contests in his hometown Philadelphia. By the time he entered high school, he was singing on local radio stations and upon graduation he sang with Buddy Morrow's and Carlie Ventura's bands. He also appeared as an intermission singer at the Paramount Theatre in New York Eddie Fisher, his voice, his career, his private life. But more important than any of this is the Fisher personality which from the beginning captured the affection of the public, his charm, has personal magnitism and his whole-someness.

Eddie Fisher today is a mature artist Like his predecessors he has survived teen-age adulation, the trying responsibility of attempting to follow hit record with hit record, less than successful motion picture roles and a stormy private life. Series Planned For Children "Marx Magic Midway," a new children's series combining circus, magic and variety acts, and starring Claude Kirchner as ringmaster, will have its premiere on NBC-TV Saturday, Sept. 22. The programs will be staged in New York before a studio audience. Kirchner is a 25-year veteran of radio and TV, and was ringmaster of "Super Circus" on ABC-TV for eight years.

Since 1956 he has been host of the five-time-a-week "Merrytoon Circus" on WOR-TV, New York. "Marx Magic Midway" will also feature three veteran clowns Douglas Anderson, Paul (Coo Coo) Doolcy and 300-pound BUI (Crash) Bailey and a seven-piece circus band led by a pert teen-age baton wirier. Features appealing to youngsters and adults will be spotlighted each week, including animal acts, acrobats, tightrope artists and other thrilling attractions. Leilani Michaels, sister of the Delta Queens line captain, Angela, doesn't expect special privileges because she is related to her boss. Her many years experience as a dancer and her dark, beauty qualify her to meet the rigid standards of the Fran Malione dancers.

Leilani is featured in the chorus line of cutics who put a special sparkle in the popular "Riverboat Follies" in the 7th floor Fun Room at Harolds Club in downtown Reno. Due to overseas assignments of their U. S. Navy officer father, both girls were born in distant lands. Angela in China and Leilani in Hawaii.

Leilani was raised and schooled in San Francisco where she graduated from San Francisco State College with a major in dramatics. Her excellence in dramatics resulted the singing, dancing and acting leads in six major productions at San Francisco State. Her talents as a coed resulted in summer stock leads at Carmel Valley's White Oaks Theatr where she appeared in such hits as "Bells Are Ringing," "Annie Get Your Gun," "My Three Angels," and "Tender Trap." She has been a top professional photographers model in San Francisco for several years and been a "Malione Dancer" at the leading hotels in San Francisco for the last seven years.
