The other day the house of Harvey Westcoit, who lives east of Atlantic, was searched and a quantity of plunder found One of the first articles found was a bicycle of B. Chase, of this place, who had forwarded it by the Nypan6 to the factory to be repaired; then there were a number of fas clocks, also stolen from the Nypano, barbed wire and almost everything imaginable.

Wescott and his wife, and Hiram Westcott were arrested and at the hearing before Justice Andrews all were bound over to coutt. Mrs. Westrott gave bail and the others were taken to the Meadville jail. A Mr. Filch, of Shermansville, was also arrested, but for lack of evidence was released.

The next day a kit of burglar's tools was found at his home, but Fitch had skipped. An Ohio constable since attempted to arrest him and was shot, not fatally injured.
