and 1 2:48 p.m. Friday, police eceived three comp laints of a man causing problems at a business in the 200 block of Clark Street. The man was to be transported to jail on a charge of disorderly conduct upon being cleared from the Aspirus emergency department. At 3 p.m. Friday, an off icer received blood results from the State Hy- iene Lab, and as a result, a 26-year-old woman was cited for first-offense operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration.

On Friday, a business in the 1800 block of Badger Avenue reported that aman fled on a bicycle after shoplifting items from the store. The man was identified from a store photo and is being referred to the district at- orney on a charge of retail theft. At Friday, a 54-year-old man was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping in he 900 block of North econd Street. A 5:37 p.m. Friday, a 38-year-old woman was issued a citation for drug paraphernalia in the 1200 block of Augusta Avenue.

Friday, a 24-year- ld woman was arrested a probation warrant in the 500 block of North Sixth Street. At 11p.m. Friday, a 28- ear-old man was arrest- ed on a charge of first-off ense drunken driving a nd cited for violating a ed traffic signal after a raffic stop in the 300 lock of West Street. At 1:22 a.m. Saturday, a 35-year-old man was taken into custody on a charge of second-offense drunken driving after a report of a suspicious vehicle being stuck in a snowbank in the 1400 block of McClellan treet.

A 2:46 a.m. Saturday, a male was arrested on a probation violation in the 900 block of Kickbusch Street. At 3:54 a.m. Saturday, a29-year-old man was referred to the district office on a charge of theft after officers investigated a theft omplaint in the 100 block of South Fifth Avenue. A 5:25 a.m.

Saturday, a 37-year-old man was arrested on a charge of first-offense drunken driving after a one-vehicle crash in the 1100 block of West Thomas Street. On Saturday, police located a man and arrested him on a charge of retail theft after he reportedly shoplifted and fled on foot from a business in the 200 block of Central Bridge Street. A 4:48 p.m. Saturday, a19-year-old male employee was accused of theft from a safe at the R- Store at 2007 Stewart Ave. The man also was acc used of damaging his vehicle at in Schofield.

This was referred to Everest Metro. The man is being referred on charges of theft and riminal damage. A 3:16 p.m. Sunday, a 2 8-year-old man was taken into custody on a probation hold in the 1100 block of South 50th Aven ue. Police William J.

(Bill) Hall, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in New York, NY and attended NYU before he served in the 86th Division in the Army in France and Germany in World War II. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1949 with a degree in Pulp and Paper from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He moved to Wausau with his Trst wife, Betty Gean Hutchison, and younger son, Dan. Bill met Marian (Williams) Seagren after both of them lost their spouses to cancer.

They were married for 34 years. Bill worked at Weyerhaeuser for 40 years, most recently as the Environmental AWairs Manager. He was recognized with the U.S. North Central District Environmental Stewardship Award. After Bill retired, he continued to stay active in the Wausau community.

He volunteered for over 25 years for Habitat for Humanity, and served on various committees at the First Presbyterian Church, including starting Doorkeepers and Sunday Suppers. He was passionate about helping others, including assisting with Wausau In-House Network, United Way, and the North Central Area Congregations Organized to Make an Impact (NAOMI) on the Treatment Instead of Prisons (TIP) Committee. He also belonged to Golden Kiwanis. Bill and Marian enjoyed many years traveling in their motor home, biking, cross country skiing, and golTng. They took several trips during retirement to various countries, including seeing relatives in Ireland.

In addition to raising three children, Bill was a wonderful stepdad to two children. Bill, Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife, Marian; all of his children Mike (Nancy) Hall of Mill Creek, WA, Suzanne (Chuck) Shelton of Sammamish, WA, Dan (Deb) Hall of Marysville, WA, Karen (Rod) Rasmussen of Kenosha, WI, and Sharon (Ron) Seagren of Madison, WI; seven grandchildren Jill (JeW) Ding, Kaylan (Eric) Dykema, Melinda (Ryan) Wieder, Patrick (Michelle) Shelton, Samantha Hall, Becky Rasmussen, and Ryan Rasmussen; and three great grandchildren Grace, Abby, and Isabella. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maggie, and Trst wife, Betty. A memorial service in celebration of life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Wausau on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
