Week at Churches Special Rites to Be Held at Edifices As Easter Nears Special Holy Week ceremonies leading up to the end of Lent on Saturday and observance of Easter, the holiest of holy days in the Christian calendar, will be held in the churches of Metropolitan Oakland tomorrow. Holy Communion will be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bay Place and Montecito Avenue, at St. Mark's Church, Berkeley. Holy Communion will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock.

At St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Hillen Drive and Madera Avenue, celebration of Holy Communion will be at 9 a.m. daily excepting Good Friday. CONFESSION SERVICE The Service of Confession will be held at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Alcatraz and Benvenue Avenues, tomorrow evening, when the pastor, Dr.

Earnest A. Trabert, will give a meditation on some Passion Week scenes. At Elmhurst Baptist, Church, 90th Avenue and Street, Pastor Clyde P. Douglas MacArthur, the Oakland Park Board is considering changing the name of Mosswood Park to MacArthur Park. The park; located at Broadway and what was formerly Moss Avenue, has an area of eight acres. For more than 30 years it has been known as Mosswood Park. proposal was referred to City Attorney F. Bert Fernhoff for an opinion as to whether the former private estate became a park with a stipulation that its permanent name be Mosswood.

Hoffman, vice-president of the Park Board pointed out that the re-naming was in order inasmuch as City Council decided to re-name the dozen streets which form the Bay, Bridge approach MacArthur Boulevard. Barber, 42, will receive $165 a month temporary alimony. Superior Judge Frank M. Ogden today directed Justin F. Barber, 54, to pay such an amount after the wife had testified in support of her plea for $220 monthly support. Barber filed suit in Superior Court on March 11, accusing his wife of cruelty.

Mrs. Barber countered with a cross-complaint through Attorney Myron Harris, also charging cruelty. Barber lives at 1845 San Pedro Avenue, Berkeley, and his wife at the Whitecotton Hotel in Berkeley.
