County Banks Honored Gage county banks have participated for the third consecutive year with Nebraska's other 354 country banks to win the award of the agriculture commission of the American Bankers' association according to Richard W. Trefz, president of the Beatrice State bank and regional vice president of the ABA. The award is made on a basis of services rendered by banks in the interests of agriculture. The report shows Nebraska banks served 86,075 farm customers with 329,243 farm loans totalling $183,186,000. Mr.
