Bradley, one of the old timers of Kingman county, was visiting in our city Monday. Word was received here late Monday evening that Harry Passwater had been killed near Wichita. Mr. Passwater was a one time resident of Spivey. Don't forget you can pay your taxes in Spivey and save the long trip to Kingman.

Call at the Spivey State Bank. WALKER- NICHOLAS A very pretty and quiet wedding took place at the Methodist parsonage Sunday evening at four o'clock, when Rev. Cloud united in marriage Miss Cora Walker of Spivey and Mr. David Nicholas of Rago. The bride is a very attractive and popular young lady.

She is a graduate of the Spivey High School and one of our county teachers. The new Mrs. Nicholas is the youngest daughter Mr. and Mrs. R.

J. Walker of Spivey. The groom is a promising young business man and farmer. He is a graduate of the WichBusiness College. The most of his life has been with his parents on the farm in Valley township.
