Page Four MULDROW HERALD Thursday, June 20, 1968 WHITE FAMILY HAS REUNION SERVICE'S HELD FOR RS. JlMMlE DYER' Funeral services for Mrs. Jimmie F. Morrison Dyer. 302 North Van Buren, Elk City, Oklahoma, who expired Wednesday, June 5, 1968, in a local hospital at Elk City, following a short illness, were conducted Friday June 7, 1968 in the Martin Funeral Chapel at 2:30 p.m, with Rev.

officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Okla. Pall Bearers were: Frank Stevens, Kay Curl, Toby Bowdell, Joe Britton, Ulis Barnhill, and ack Knight. Mrs. Dyer, the former i'mmie Florence Morrison, was the daughter of the late W.R.

Morrison and Lillian BarksdaleMor- rison, and was married to John Wessley Dyer, December 7,1927. Mrs. Dyer was born July 21, 1901, in Tennessee. She is a former Sequoyah Countian, having lived in Muldrow, for a number of years, before moving to Elk City, Oklahoma in the year of 1929. She had been assisting her husband in the operation of the Morrison Grocery.

Besides her husband, Wessley Dyer, she is survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. B.I. Smith, (Mildred), Mrs. Alice Hodgens and Mrs. Thomas Ward, (Georgian), all of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Mrs.

Marguerite Marshall of Guthrie, Oklahoma, also a niece, Mrs. Ann Clark, Elk City, Oklahoma. Also a host of friends. Those from Sequoyah County who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Truman Dyer, Mrs. Alta Hyles, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Dyer, all of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Mr. Mrs.

Bill Junior Dyer and Jerry Wayne, Roland, Oklahoma, and Mr. and Mrs. W.W. (Buck) Dyer and Ray Dean, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs.

Harold Dyer and children were unable to attetid, but sent flor- wers. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Truman Dyer, spent from Friday until Sunday, with his brother, Wessley Dyer and then.came by Tulsa, and had lunch other brother, W.W. Dyer and family, returning home Sunday afternoon.

The rest of the Dyer families returned to their homes, Friday, after Funeral services. CALIFORNIA VISITORS RETURN HOME Mrs. Edith Brown of Hunting- tori Park, California and her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Elliott and baby Bruce of Bell, California, remrnedtoCalifornia June 13, after visiting several days with their mother and grandmother, Mrs.

Maggie Hilderbrand and family. Mrs. William Elliott and son visited in Tennessee, for one week with his parents before their'return to California. This picture was taken at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Roy White of Muldrow, where a family reunion was enjoyed last Sunda 1 June 16. This was the first all the White's seven ch en and eleven randchildr had been togethf in th.ee years. Besides bein i athers was also the birthday of their daughter, 'rs. Charles Renfro. Those present were: Mr.

and Mrs. Melvih White, and twin sons, Stacy and Casy of Tulsai Mr. and; Mrs. i Rudy Turner and Michale, of Tulsa; Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Renfro, Danny and Chuckie of Georgia; Mr. andMrs. Roy Dean White and anie of Ft. Smith; Mr. and Mrs.

J.W. White, Stevie, Douglas and David of Ft. Smith; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Ogdon of Tahlequah; and Mr.

andMrs. George White, Robert and Randy. pf Muldrow. There were also six guests- present. They were; Mr.

andMrs. Bud Stumbaugh and Mr. and Mrs. Riddle. TO SERVE IN ARMY We are sorry to feee Clarence (Butch) Acton Jr.

go to be inducted into the armed services June 11th. His father returned from the hospital the same day. EASTERN STAR LADIES INITIATE THREE The Muldrow Fa -it Stars met Monday night, at the Bruton Lodge in Muldrow. Three were initiated into the Eastern Stars they were: Harold Laster, Irene Tuttle and Katheryn Laster. Visitors from Fort Smith, Vian and Sallisaw were present for the meeting.

The Worthy Matron presiding was Mrs; Wilma Pendergrass and Worthy Patron was Harvey Woodward. The meetings thru July and August have been dis-banned. VISITS WITH'PARENTS Mrs. Roy Griffin of Sallisaw, visited last Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Luther Shadell.
