SOUTHWEST RENO Reno Preservation society hosts Depression lecture Find out "How Soup and Sin Saved the Silver State" at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mella Harmon, curator of history at the Nevada Historical Society, presents a look at how state and federal initiatives shaped Nevada during the Great Depression. This lecture presented by the Historic Reno Preservation Society will take place at Mt.
