Harold Simpson Gould North Stratton Court Charlotte Allman Seymour Harold Simpson "Hal" Gould, 75, of North Stratton Court, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at 1:45 p.m. in his home. Born Feb.

21, 1932, in Columbus, he was the son of Harold Patrick and Frances Wells Gould. Hal was a 1950 graduate of HAROLD GOULD Columbus High School. He then served in the U.S. Navy, from 1951 until 1955 as a medic. Upon discharge from the HAROLD GOULD Navy, Hal enrolled in Indiana University where he earned his B.S.

degree in marketing. Upon graduation in 1959, he accepted a position with Ortho Pharmaceutical Corp. which was headquartered in New Jersey. Over his career, he lived in many large cities representing the company in several capacities during his 35-year tenure. He and three of his close associates from Johnson Johnson developed Omni, series of educational modules that revolved around developmental and educational programs for medical and nursing schools around the country.

He had also served as the manager of the city of Chicago Medical Centers. Hal retired early and pursued his love of golf and travel. The Jack Nicklaus golf course in Mason, Ohio, was home to Hal and his family for 23 years. Big events Hal enjoyed being a part of every year for many years were the LPGA golf and ATP tennis tournaments. He had served as then program chairman for LPGA and served as a ranger at Otter Creek Golf Course.

They had also wintered in Destin, for many years. and his wife returned to his wonderful and much-loved community of Columbus in 1999 after 43 years of living away. The circle of life was complete. Survivors include his wife, Charlin Groves Gould of Columbus, whom he married Sept. 1, 1957 in Taylorsville; a daughter, Karen Lynn Gould of Cincinnati; a son, John Patrick (Elizabeth Steinhoff) Gould of West Chester, Ohio; and his granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Gould who was born Dec.

22, 2006, and made her Pappy's last days a joy in many ways. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Richard Gould. Cremation has been chosen by the Gould family with a memorial service Friday, June 22, 2007, at 10 a.m. in First Christian Church, where he was a member, with Pastor Dan Wallace officiating. Inurnment will be Garland Brook Cemetery on Monday, June 25, 2007, at 2 p.m.

Service Willis F. Zeigler The funeral service for Willis F. Zeigler, 87, of Columbus was conducted Saturday by Hathaway-Myers Dignity Memorial Chapel. David Burnett officiated. Clarke Zeigler and Bret Curry read a poem.

Burial was at Garland Book Cemetery with military rites by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard. Pallbearers were Bret Curry, Darbi Hacker, Julia Eudy, and Clarke, Jesse and Christopher Zeigler. Honorary pallbearers were Melissa Rodriguez, Hillary and Clay Whittington and Mason Curry. Mr. Zeigler died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.
