Bonus Commander Fears Promoting Inflation A national veterans bonus was opposed here today by the national commander of the Jewish War Veterans. Lt. Col. Milton H. Richman, who represents 100,000 veterans, said such a bonus would help promote "inflation." Colonel Richman saw action in both World WTars I and II.

A Hartford, attorney, he maintained a "hands off" policy on state bonuses. said he favored states take ceie of the matter themselves. His opposition to the national bonus was in keeping with a resolution passed at the Jewish War Veterans national convention. The former Third Army officer placed his organization on record concerning other issues. They included: 1 Support of the Wagner-EUen-der-Taft housing bill.

It proposes a six billion dollar program of public housing and rural housing over a 45-year period. 2 Favoring Jewish immigration into Palestine. 3 Favoring universal military training. Colonel Richman declined comment on the current Supreme Court decision which said veterans can lose their job rights after a year. He will speak tonight at the Post 49, Jewish War Veterans 11th annual goodwill dinner in Hotel Schenley at 6:30 p.

m. Arthur H. Day, a veteran of World War I and a Cleveland Judge will also speak. Only this year, they're equipped with jet propulsion. In this atomic aee.
