0. ELLIS JF THISCiry.BIES Building Contractor And Former N. Railroad Em- ploye Passes; Funeral Service To Be Held Monday O. L. Ellis, 71,, widely known butld- contractor and former employee of the Norfolk'and Western Railway died at 12:20 yesterday noon at, his home on the Bramwell road.

Mr. Ellis had been in declining health for the past eighteen months, suffering from heart trouble and complications. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the, Ellis residence, conducted by the Rev. W. Collins, assisted by the Rev.

Ben S. Johnson, pastor of the First Christian church. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery. Mr. Kills was a man of high ideals and was held in high wteem by all who knew him.

He was born Lowell-, Monroe county, this and came to this section when he was only fifteen years old. For more than atteen years he was in the train service of the Norfolk and Western a brakeman and conductor and later as" yardmaster. In the capacity of the he worked at Norton and Elkho.rn. He. very active part in the'work'of-fraternal orders and vr-as a.

member of Bluefleld-'lodge of Elks. Odd- Fellows and Knights of, Pythias. Mr. Elite was, unmarried. He is survived by the following sisters and one brother: Mrs.

Dr. Nanassy is superintendent of the Hungarian Reform Orphans' home at Llgonier. He will be the guest of the Rev. Bogar for two weeks. During that time be will visit the affiliated churches at Gary and Tarns.

The young people of the Hungarian Reform church will present two one-act plays on Saturday evening, May 20. in the Sunday school rooms of the church.
