As soon as It is settled, the schedule will be drawn, and everything made ready for the str.rt. The officers have extended an invitation to another elrong clob or two to line up with the Twlllghters this season, and if they accept this look will be the strongest and bent the Northside has ever known. The teams certain at present are tha p. W. solberts, Rankin Arcade, Itennath, Brushton A. Yankee Juniors, Jaxon A. East Liberty Triangles, Shadysld Triangles, Bloomfleld Triangles, Ohmar club, Cathedral cl'Jb and Morningslde Cubs.

Next Friday evening at the same place the Bartley PRESS Juvonlle league will meet. This loop Is for teams whose playors range In actual use from 13 to 18 years, and a strong leaguo Is anticipated. Amos O. Ad-klnson Is pushing the Hartley leagues, and Is meeting with flue success. When he gets through, ha expects to have close to 50 teams In the various classes lined up.

Nearly all the preliminaries have been given attention by the officers of THE PRESS Sheraden, Elliott and Wostend Church league, which wl'l open Its season on April 50, with eight strong clubs. This league functioned nicely last season, but Is looking forward to even better times this summer. The last campaign taught Its lessons, and the officers have profited by them. The season In this league will run until Labor day, and each team will play one game a week.

IS 11AFT05 ASD INGRAM. The Craflon and Ingram Ohorch league will be a firmer foundation than ever this season. Heretofore the league has had no grounds that It could call Its own, hut used the Methodist diamond. This plot of ground has now been purchased by the school board of Crafton, and will be used exclusively as a pubtlo recre ation center. It Is expected that a number of Improvements will be made, which will add to the attractiveness of the Church league con tests ln the futnre.

Although the league will be llm Ited to five clubs, Ingram Union, Crafton Presbyterian, St. Phillips, Crafton U. P. nnd Crafton M. there will be three games each week, according to present plana, and a keen rivalry Is certain to make the games Interesting.

HARMONY TO SIOTTf AGAIN, Another meeting of THE PRESS Harmony league will he held In the near future, by which time It I hoped to have six clubs lined up. At the last meeting, Bradford Woods and Wexford were not represented, hut It Is hoped that they will have teams, and come along. Older Corner, Warrendale, Prrrymrille and Ingnmar are certain. A noted silversmith Is now at work TOURNAMENT OPENSMONDAY Activities in Annual Southern Event at Club Alleys Promise to Break All Records The Southern duckpin tournament opens tomorrow on the Club alleys with one of the largest entry lists ln its history. The rolling starts tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock, when a squad of five-man teams will take the alleys.

Broad st. and Larimer Kastena. Roche and Dick will make up one team, and Long and Azarra the other, and the toammates will be privileged to relieve each other whenever Uiey see fit. Tliis means a hot race over the entire course. Thtso teams met on March 23 whea Long and Azarra won.

However, Dick took a tumble during that race, but for which he and his mate think they would have been returned the winner, and they eonseriaeseSfy asked for another chance, which will come to them Friday, This should be a good contest. The Auditorium rink will continue to operate every evening. The recent death of the lessee, B. E. Clark, will not change the policy of the management, which Is now vested in IJdward Noll, who was for years associated with Mr.

He comes highly recommended, snd the Majestlo club officials declare they know he Is a good man. capable of putting up a pleasing bout. In Ryan he will meet a lad who Is generally regarded as a comer. Boo was formerly a kingpin In the amateur brigade, and has bei'n making; rapid strides since he entered the realm of the profcs.lonals. He boxed the Tube City last week, and won from Knockout Jitney, of Reaver Vails, when he was fouled by the latter.

However, he would have wuh anyway, for he had a nig margin over the down-river lad at the time, and the bout was almost over. Ryan and Marchand have agrend to make 13(1 pounds at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, a figure which jua milts both of them. The next meeting will be held at fit Basil's church on Tuesday evening at o'clock, at which officers will be elected, and the schedule committee appointed. Rules were adopted at the last meeting.

The burgess of Carrick has assured the league of his support, and the clubs are looking forward to a successful season. Panhandle League Meets on Thursday Another meeting of THE PRESS Panhandle Baseball league will be held next Thursday evening at 8 o'clork at Tope's auto accessory store, old Washington Hank building, Burgettstown, at which officer! will be elected, and a schedule drawn for the season.
