and two crystal candle holders with gold candlesticks on an ecru lace table cloth A tall basket of white glad-kilis fern and snapdragons presented by Leah Kay and Arthur Tripp decorated the fire place with huge bouquet of golden marigolds on either side Miss Leah Beene Becomes Bride of Arthur Davis Tripp The First Baptist Church was the setting at 7:30 pm Saturday evening fur the wedding of Miss Leah Kay Beene to Arthur Davis Tripp The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Beene and the bridegroom the son of Mr and Mrs A Tripp The altar was banked with floor baskets of white gladiolus and stood against a background of greenery Cundclabras held lighted candles Rev Paul Palmer of Muskogee read the nuptial vows Mrs Peggy O'Neal organist presented a program of nuptial music and accompanied Miss Linda Reed who sang "Oh Pcr-lect The bride was given in marriage by her father Her wedding guwn of embroidered organdy was worn over satin A Juliet hat studded with seed pearls held a shoulder length veil of bridal illusion She carried a white prayer book tupped with a white orchid encircled with stephanotia and showers of satin ribbons Miss Sally Ann Beene sister of the bride was maid of honor and wore a mint green organdy dress with embroidered organdy jacket with matching Juliet hat Her Colonial bouquet was of pink carnations Joe Davidson cousin of the bridegroom was best man and ushers
