IOWA PAGE SEVEN SOCIETIES HONORED MINISTER AND WIFE AT THORJN FRIDAY THOR The three Ladies Aid societies of the-Thar and Trinity Lutheran churches entertained at a reception Friday evening at the Community hall in honor of the Rev and Mrs. T. B. Thorson on the occasion of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.

About guests were present. 250 The honored couple entered the hall to the strains ot Mendelsohn's wedding march played by Constance Moklebust. The following program was presented: song by a woman's chorus, musical reading by Mrs. B. Olson, solo by Valain Pederson vocal solo by Mrs.

E. Mosbo of Rembrandt, and a vocal solo by William FOBS. The Rev. T. J.

Sovertson of Eagle Grove closed the program with a talk and presented the honored couple with a purse of silver. Lunch was served by the ladles at the tables which were decoraTed with garden flowers, silver candle sticks, and blue tapers. The remainder the evening was spent socially. Bethany Circle. The Bethany Circle was entertained by Constance and Inez Moklebust at their home Friday evening.

The meeting opened with group singing followed by devotion by Rev. Thorson. During the business session it was de cided to give a Centennial program soon. Charlotte Larson served as pro gram chairman for the evening and the following numbers enjoyed: Esther Nelsen read two poems Constance Moklebust, played a pi ano solo, Cenetta Lenning gave a reading and Rev. and, Mrs.

Thor son sang a vocal duet. The pro gram closed with group slnglni and lunch was served by the! host esses. Mrs. E. J.

Mosbo of Rembrand spent Friday night at the home her parents Rev. and Mrs. Thor son and attended the silver wed ding party for her parents on Frl day evening, returning to he home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs.
