City Gas Code Is Considered Developing of a city gas code which would cowr gas lines installation is being considered, according to City Manager Thomas Hilberg. Hilberg said that, under current ordinance, gas lines installations are restricted to master plumbers. With the progress made in the industry since this restriction applied, and with the continual increase in gasoline usage, many city officials think that the code should be broadened to allow for installation by qualified appliance firms.
