Relatives and friends gathered for a picnic dinner and supper to help the couple celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, which they observed Monday. Lillian Bradley and Miss Carrie Hirth. Mrs. G. A. Gleichman has returned to her home in La Grange, after a several weeks' visit at the home of her mother, Mrs.

J. M. Krippner, and with relatives in Sullivan. Mr. and Mrs.

Arthur Haase, who recently returned! from Florida, spent the last two weeks visiting at the River Road farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lange. During their visit, the Haases lived in their own house trailer. They left Sunday to visit in Watertown and northern Wisconsin.

Misa-Hulda Lenz was the guest of honor at a birthday party at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lange. Thirty-five guests joined in honoring Miss Lenz and spent the evening playing bunco and cards. The guest of honor received many gifts.

Lunch served by Mrs. Lange. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kiesling and son, Bobby, Oconomowoc, were Sunday guests at Walter Lange home.

ROME -Mr. and Mrs. Julus Murer, Chicago, and Mrs. Clara Roethel were at Jefferson to welcome home Clarence Buske who received his discharge from the army last week. For the past 15 months he has been stationed at Alaska.

Mr. and Mrs. John Jacokbe, Prairie du Sac, and Jessie Eckert, Oconomowoc, were guests at the Donald Borgie home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs.

Allen Ley returned home from their wedding trip in southern Illinois Sunday evening. Mrs. Edna Thompson, Brooklyn, returned home Saturday evening after- spending several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Borchardt.

Germaine Tryahitonski is a patient at Fort hospital where she had an appendectomy operation last Thursday. Mrs. Wechter is quite ill at her home. She is 93 years old. Her daughter, Mrs.

Westphal. is caring for her. William Ley is recovering slowly. He is still confined to his bed but can receive visitors now. The bridge is open to traffic now after being closed for a month for repairs.

Jefferson Has Flower Show The one day flower show held at the elementary school Saturday under the sponsorship of the Jefferson Garden club was attended by approximately 200 people, 24 of whom had entries in the different divisions. 11 of them nonmembers of the Garden club.
