Peter's Subsidence Talks Seek Final Okay Negotiators Meet To Put It In Writing Representatives of the coal industry, legislators and conservationists met at the PennSheraton Hotel today to put a "gentlemen's agreement" on mine subsidence legislation into writing. Six of them Sunday reached understandings which they felt would be to everyone's satisfaction. During the past three days, both sides have been putting their versions of the compromise into writing and these will be combined into a bill which could be submitted to the Legislature next week. The original six group which hammered out the tentative agreement was swelled toddy by Dr. H.

B. Charmbury, State secretary of mines, and several technical experts from both sides. Rep. Thomas J. Forster, North Side Democrat, said the final agreement will be "closely examined by attorneys for both sides to make sure it is constitutional." East End Man Wills $401,009 An East End man left an estate valued at $401,009 mostly in bonds and stocks, according to an inventory filed in the office of Rita Wilson Kane, Register of Wills.

During World War served as a captain with Co. C. 316th Infantry, 79th Divi: sion, and received a purple heart for wounds received in the capture of Montfaucon, France. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. R.

Rogow, 77, cofounder of the Rogow Sons Manufacturing Co. of Pittsburgh, died today in the Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged. Purse Snatcher Flees In Car A youth leaped out of a car in Shadyside and snatched a woman's purse containing $200 in cash, a $300 diamond ring and an $80 watch, City detectives reported today. Mrs. Catherine Neely of 4940 Ellsworth Ave. told police she was walking by Morewood and Ellsworth Avenuse last night when the car pulled alongside her. The youth grabbed her purse and then rode off with a companion.
