Speck Slay Survivor Splits Reward CHICAGO (UPD)-The only survivor of the massacre of eight nurses in a Chicago townhouse will share in a 000 reward for naming the man convicted of the slayings. Corazon Amurao, the petite Filipino nurse who identified Richard Speck as the murderer, will split the reward with three others who supplied information leading to Speck's capture, the South Chicago Community Hospital, which offered the reward, announced yesterday. Her share was reported to 1 be $5000. The killer invaded the nurses' dormitory apartment in July of 1966, bound them and killed them one by one. Miss Amurao, an exchange nurse working at the hospital, saved herself by hiding under a bed.
