Italian stage and screen actor, has been signed for a role in Universale satire on the Mafia, "Better 4 Widow," starring Virna Lisi and Peter McEnery. He will portray a Sicilian newspaperman on the payroll of the local Mafia forces in the picture being shot on location here. Lee Marvin Stand Up Actor HOLLYWOOD A decorated World War II Marine, Lee Marvin, starring in Universal "Sergeant Ryker," cringes whenever anyone asks him about his war injury.

"I tell them I got shot in the spine," quipped the actor, "but actually I couldn't sit down for weeks." Not that she bends the script or the character of Mrs. Dolly Gallagher Levi out of recognizeable shape, but her inimitable style gives both a different and most enjoyable dimension.

Not far behind her in this matter is her co-star, Cab Calloway, who frolics through the role of Horace Vandergelder with his customary verve. Producer David Merrick happens to have put together a cast that has some remarkable new young players.
