Gronstal's Home Mrs. Joe H. Gronstal was hostess to the DeBelles club at its first meeting of the season at her home last night. Mrs. Evelyn Eng of Iowa City, former member of the club, was the only guest.

Dessert was served before contract bridge was played. Bridge prizes were won by Mrs. John Marget, high score, and Mrs. Robert McConkie, second high. Mrs.

Wilson nich, 80 Years Of Styles Shown At Guild's Faculty Reception Carroll public schools faculty members and their wives or husbands, numbering approximately 60, attended a faculty reception and historic style show given last night by the Wesleyan Service Guild in the Methodist church parlors. Fourteen different costumes typical of the years from 1861 to 1951 were modeled by members of the Guild.

Music from each period accompanied the models. Mrs. C. W. Nicoll was pianist, and solos or duets were sung by Mrs.

Mahnke and Carl Dubberke, Manilla. Mrs. Clara Smith and Lloyd, Vail, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olsen and famfly, Wall Lake, Anna' and Mrs.

MARRIED IN at St. Bernard's church yesterday were Mr. and Mrs. Norman B. Klaus.

Mrs. Klaus, the former Gloria Emily Limbrecht, is pictured above in her wedding gown. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Limbrecht of Carroll, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr.

and Mrs. R. J. Klaus of Breda. The couple will be at home in Breda following a two weeks' trip through western states.

Herbert Voeges, Westside, Celebrate Silver (Times Anniversary WESTSIDE Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Voege entertained relatives Sunday at their farm home, north of Westside, in observance of their 25th wedding anniversary which was Saturday. Mr. and Mrs.

Voege were married Sept. 8, 1926, in their present home by the Rev. Theodore A. Tews of Arcadia, and have lived their entire married life on their farm. Their attendants of 25 years ago were Mrs.

Anna Jahde of Arcadia and Alfred Mahnke of Albert City. The Voeges have three children, Margaret, Shirley and Gary, all at home. A hand-cre crocheted tablecloth which was a wedding gift to the Voeges was used on the table Sunday. The tiered anniversary cake centering the table was flanked on either side by silver tapers. Two silver shoes topped the cake which was decorated in white, pink and yellow with silver leaves.

Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mahnke, Albert City, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Mahnke, Mr.

and Mrs. Karl R. W. Dunn and Mrs. Herschel Heath.

The models appeared in the following order: 1871-Mrs. Robert Ware in a gown of covered wagon days to the tune of "Oh, 1874-Mrs. Wayne Kane, wearing a dress worn by Mrs. Duane Shriver's mother when she got off the boat from England, on the 1898- Jewel Jackson wearing a dress typical of the period, with "Sweet Sixteen" as background music. 1900-Mrs.

Dan Seaton, "When Your Hair Has Turned to Early 1000's-Mrs. Benton er, "Bicycle Built For 1918 -Miss Jackson, wearing a dress typical of the years when women "first began to show their ankles," with "Whispering" as the musical background; 1921-Mrs. Ware in a dress with duster to the tune, "Let the Rest of the World Go 1923-Mrs. Seaton and Mrs. Ed Hannemann in costumes depicting the "Flapper Era," with "Margie" as the musical accompaniment; 1931 Mrs.

William Kennelley, wearing a white formal, with "Springtime in the Rockies" as music from that year; 1936-Mrs. Shriver in a dress featuring the shorter hemline, with "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby" as the musical background; 1941-Mrs. Weeber wearing a short red crepe dress to the tune of "'The One 1949 -Mrs. Gerald E. Darling' in a gray crepe dress with bustle effect, with "For Ever and Ever" as background music; 1951-Mrs.

Kane wearing a modern suit, with "Tennessee Waltz" as the year's popular number. Preceding the style snow, the Rev. C. Hugo Orf gave a short welcome to the group. At the close of the show, David Darling and Mrs.

Dunn and Mrs. played a piano solo, "The Glider," sang a duet, "May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You." Refreshments were served from a table covered with a lace cloth and centered with an oval mirror encircled with flowers. A tiny copper cart filled with flowers was in the center of the mirror, and pink and green candles 'flanked the center arrangement. Mrs. Catherine Mieras and Miss Jackson poured.

Mrs. Wilbert L. Reitz and Mrs. Dunn were in charge of the program. Mrs.

Paul Hazelbaker and Mrs. Weeber were in charge of refreshments, and Mrs. Seaton. table decorations. EB, P.E.O.

Has Opening Dinner, Meeting Thirty-three members of Chapter EB, P.E.O. met last night for a 6:30 no-hostess dinner at Hotel Burke, followed by a meeting at the home of Mrs. G. Smith Thomas. Arrangements of flowers and candles decorated the T-shaped table for the dinner.

Sheryl McClintock played two piano selections as entertainment at the dinner. "Avenues of Escape" was the topic of last night's program. for which members told about their summer vacations. Programs for the year were distributed by the program committee. The theme, "Life Is a Road," will be carried out during the year.
