Thomas Cameron's father Lifelong Decatur County mMfflt Joshua Aaron Best Hartsville WETPORT. Joshua Aaron Best, 20, of Hartsville died at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at the Engelking. He died in 1950. She then married Harold Cox.

He died in June 1986. Survivors include nieces, nephews, and great-, and great-great- nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Loran, Earl and Edwin Booth, and sisters, Maude Epple, Ethel Dawson and Elsie Stafford Freeman E. Cameron Clarksburg University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was injured Monday in a Combat Infantry Badge The funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Friday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Jerry Vander-vort officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Mr. Hardin was born in Boyd, Oct.

21, 1922, the son of James and Corrilla Webster Hardin. He married Patricia Jones June 26, 1949, a Columbus. She survives. Also surviving are sons, Ronald F. Jones, Carl David T.

and Roger Hardin, all of Columbus, and Jerry D. Hardin of Greensburg; daughters, Lynette M. Harris of Liberty, and Nancy Hardin and Susan Harris, both of Colum four-wheel ATV race at Jen" nings County Fairgrounds. A lifelong IV I I Ci I I VT I I I ly resident of Freeman E. Cameron, 90, of Clarksburg died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Flat Rock River Lodge in Rushville A lifelong resident of Decatur, Rush and Franklin counties, Mr.

Cameron retired as a truck driver from Decatur County Highway Department. He also drove a bus for the Decatur County school system for 20 years. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Burial will be at Clarksburg Cemetery. Mr. Cameron was born Feb. 19, 19U, the son of Elmer and Emma Moser Cameron. He was the widower of Lola Mae Alford Cameron who died in 1973.

Surviving are sons, Thomas E. Cameron of Columbus and Marshall L. Cameron of Clarksburg; daughters, Evelyn DeVenzio of Greensburg and Lela W. Cameron of Los. Angeles; a sister, Violet Merritt of Greensburg; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Cameron; four brothers; and two sisters. Homemakcr Formerly of Columbus Betty Jean Glide well Indianapolis Betty Jean Beikman GudewelL 68, of Indianapolis died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. A 1950 graduate of Shields High School in Seymour, Mrs. Glidewell also was formerly of Columbus and retired in 1994 as a legal secretary for Eli Lilly Co. She was past treasurer of Indianapolis Hiking Club and a member of North Liberty Christian Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Planner and Buchanan Speedway Mortuary. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Traders Point Christian Academy, 7880 Lafayette Road, Indianapolis, IN 46278. She is survived by her husband, L. Richard Glidewell; a daughter, Jane Glidewell; a son, Brian Glidewell; and sisters, Mildred Graves and Helen Beikman. She was preceded in death by her parents. Christian and Alma Beikman.

Golden Foundry retiree Guss D. Hardin Gates She married Chester P. Ray Oct. 9, 1940. He survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Terry Ray of Flat Rock; a sister, Rosemary Carrico of Washington; a brother, Ralph Worland of Washington; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter, Chester Joseph Ray and Betty Walls; a sister, Anna Steiner; and two grandchildren. First Methodist Chvrch member InahM. Ritz Two Worlds Drive I nan M. Rit2, 79, of Two Worlds Drive died at 10:20 a.m.

Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Four Seasons Health Care Center. She was a member of First-United Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 2 p.m.' Friday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Ann L. Glass officiating.

Ritz was born in Beeville, Texas, June 5, 1922, the daughter of Lula Mae Fridge Young of Beeville and the late Warren E. Young. She married Charles W. Ritz Jan. 24, 1948, at Beeville He died April 9, 1994.

Other survivors include a son, Charles W. Ritz III of Lebanon; granddaughters, Marta Williams of Indianapolis, Kalen Ritz of Boulder, and Lauren Ritz of Lebanon; and brothers, John Young of Midland, Texas, and E.W. Young of Beeville. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Warren Ritz. Memorial service Morris S.

Other survivors include a brother, Michael Brewer of Vallonia; grandparents, Robert and Toby Brewer of Vallonia and Jerry and Harriett Warren of Florida; and a great-grandmother, Gladys Waskom of Brownstown. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Martha Brewer. North Christian Church member Edward G. Bulpitt Kennesaw Trail Edward G. Bulpitt, 77, of Kennesaw Trail died at 10:25 p.m.

Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at his home. Mr. Bulpitt was a graduate of Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a former employee of Cummins Engine Co. and Allison Division of General Motors and retired in 1983 from Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, where he worked for 22 years.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of North Christian Church, Bartholomew County Genealogical Society and the American Legion and a charter member of Plainfield Hope United Presbyterian Church. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. David Shirey officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m.

Bulpitt was born in Tay-lorville, 111., Sept. 26, 1923, the son of James C. and Gladys M. Ac hen-bach Bulpitt. He married Charline Harrell Oct.

26, 1952, at Columbus. She survives. Also surviving are daughters, Decatur County, he was employed by Best Equipment in Greens burg and Scott Best Excavating at West port. He was a 10-year member of 4-H, attended Waynesburg Christian Church and was a 2000 graduate of South Decatur High School. The funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Mr. Best was born in Columbus April 9, 1981, the son of David E. Best of Hartsville and the late Beverly J. Best. Also surviving are brothers, Scott Best of Westport and Monty and Jonathan Best, both of Hartsville; and grandparents, Thomas and Martha Zinser of Greensburg and Maxine Padgett of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, John Ernest Lay and Ed Best. Browpstyy Central senior Robert J. Brewer Vallonia VALLONIA Robert Jonathon Brewer, 17, of Vallonia died at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2001, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident on Indiana 135 south of Browns town. Robert was a senior at Brown-stown Central High School, manager of the school basketball team and a member of the Show Choir.

He was a member of Browns town Christian Church and attended Brownstown Baptist Church. The funera will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral bus; brothers. Terry Ry' mother Alma Louise Ray Rushville Alma Louise Ray, 79, a resident of Flat Rock River Lodge in Rushville, died at 4:07 a.m. Sunday, June 24, 2001, at Community South Hospital in Greenwood. Mrs. Ray had been a seamstress and a Uniroyal employee. She was a member of St.

Simon's Church in Washington, where she was a former resident, and also had attended St. Columba Catholic Oratory in Columbus. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Simon's Church with the Rev.

Cox. 80, of Seymour died at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Cox was a home maker and attended Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle.

Hardin retired from Golden Foundry in 1986 and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He served as a sergeant in the Army during World War II and the Korean War and was the recipient of the Purple Heart, the Good Conduct Medal with four bronze loops, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one service star.
