Miller conducted a memorial service at the cemetery for Mr. Beesley's grandson, Curtis Minor Beesley. Mr. Beesley died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, at his home.

Archie C. Blair The funeral for Archie C. Blair, 82, of Columbus was Tuesday at Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown, with the Rev. A.J. Alderman officiating.

Mr. Blair's grandchildren provided special music. Burial was at Allardt Cemetery in Allardt, Tenn. Mr. Blair died Thursday, Aug.

23, 2001, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Julia Louise Carlock The funeral for Julia Louise Carlock, 89, of Bel Air, formerly of Jennings County, was Monday at Coffee Creek Baptist Church in Paris Crossing with the Rev. Roger Hearne officiating. Eulogy was given by Zonda DeFe-lice Norwood. Organist was Margaret Reese.

North Vernon and Betty Cupp of Seymour. He was preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Roy and Roger Helm, and an infant brother, Earl Helm. Progressive Tool retiree Russell L. King Nashville Russell L. King, 91, of Nashville died at 5 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001, at Brown County Community Care Center in Nashville. He was a retired tool and die maker for Progressive Tool and Machine and was a volunteer in the genealogy department at the Edinburgh Public Library. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Inlow Weaver Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev.

Hurschell Joslin officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Houston Cemetery in Jackson County.

Memorials may be made to the genealogy department at the Edinburgh Public Library. Mr. King was born in Nashville June 26, 1910, the son of George and Iantha Fox King. He married Doris Waggoner Feb. 22, 1946.

She died Sept. 10, 1990. He is survived by a daughter, Josie Henneke of Indianapolis; a son, Jerald King of Nashville; grandchildren, Karin Hawkins and Autumn Bowden; and four greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. Friend and Mark Pratt.

Mr. Grant died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at his home. Margaret Ellen Greeson A graveside service for Margaret Ellen Greeson, 78, Of North Vernon was Thursday at Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Bridgewater officiating.

Burial was at Vernon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Cunningham, Carl and Roger Hess, Virgil Ragan and Lionel Robinson. Mrs. Greeson died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Helen T. Hill The funeral for Helen T. Hill, 91, of Madison, formerly of North Vernon, was Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Jennings County with the Rev. John Meyer officiating.

Burial was at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Rob, David, Kevin, Todd and Jerry Hill, Michael Ramseyer and Brian Henderson. Mrs. Hill died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

Oliver C. Petro The funeral for Oliver C. Petro, 84, of Jonesville Road was Wednesday at Barkes, Inlow Weaver Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Goddard officiating. Burial was at Daugherty Cemetery.

of Tavlor Road, formerly of North Vernon. died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. (29, 2001, at Four Seasons Health Care Center. Mr.

Helm was a graduate of North Vernon High School and attended Purdue University. For 25 years he and his wife operated Helm's Confectionary in North Vernon. He then became president pf First National Bank in North Vernon and also was past presi dent of North Vernon Building Co. Sand former director at First National Bank. He was a member of First Christian Church in North Vernon where he had served as trustee, (elder and Sunday school teacher, find also was a former elder and rustee at Hollywood Christian phurch in Florida.

He served on the board and kteering committee of Hoosier jiu lonau vmagc til ui uwuaiuwu, was a member of North Vernon Masonic Lodge, a 50-year member pf the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite and North Vernon Prder of the Eastern Star and a former member of Murat Shrine. He was a former member of several North Vernon civic clubs and in 1994 was given an award by Jennings County Economic Development Commission. During World Wai: II, he served as a Red Cross volunteer and as a Minute Man. A graveside service will be at p.m. Saturday at Vernon Cemetery with the Revs.
