Survived by her sons Michael, of Kansas City, MO; Thomas, of Glendale, MO; and Christopher (Katie) of St. Louis County, MO; and daughter Sally Kellogg (Keith) of Des Peres, MO. Preceded in death by her beloved and adoring husband of 55 years, Harvey, daughter Patricia Ann, brother Edward, and sister-in- law Audrey.

Loving, proud, and cherished "Grammy" of Andrew, Margaret, Annie, and James Pulliam, Caroline, Sarah, Tim, and Matt Pulliam, and Nicholas and Ryan Kellogg. She was a loved and treasured aunt and cousin, a good neighbor, and a great friend to many. Gloria was born in May, 1925 in St. Louis, the second child of George and Anne Gayou. Her older brother, Ed, was a wonderful brother with whom she shared many, many happy times growing up and throughout their lives.

She attended Nerinx Hall High School where she continued to develop her love of writing and music. She graduated from Nerinx Hall in 1943 and then continued her education at Maryville University, where she majored in English and Psychology and graduated with honors in 1947. Gloria went to work for D'Arcy Advertising Agency after college. She met Harvey while at Maryville and they were married in 1953. Soon thereafter, she turned down an opportunity to work in the dawn of television advertising to devote her time and attention to her greatest passion her family, which she happily pursued for the rest of her life.

Gloria loved being a wife and mother, and cherished her time with her family. She was a devout Catholic, a proud member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish for nearly 75 years, a frequent visitor and volunteer to the Carmelite Monastery, and held a special devotion to the Virgin Mary, which provided her a source of great comfort and strength throughout her life. Her hobbies included music and singing, gardening, reading, volunteering, and playing bridge with her friends. She always appreciated the opportunity to travel, which began at a young age when she and her family would take day trips throughout Missouri on the weekends. She often mentioned how truly blessed she was having wonderful friends from all parts of her life.

Their company always brought her such joyandhappiness. She had a tremendous compassion for the less fortunate, a humble nature, a love of laughter, a generous spirit, and a true recognition of her life's blessings. Her life, well lived, is her legacy which will continue to provide a shining example to her family and friends. Without a doubt it can be said of her, "She left the world a little bit better than when she arrived." She will be greatly missed by all of the people whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank Gloria's physicians and the staffs at Sunrise Assisted Living in Clayton and Mari de Villa for taking good care of her.
