She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Schmoe. David Matthew Brinlev's mother Phyllis Jean Brinley Franklin Word has been received here of the death of Phyllis Jean Harter Brinley, 69, of Franklin, formerly of Rensselaer She died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Franklin United Methodist Community. She had been employed as a registered nurse at St.

John's Hospital in Anderson and also served as Madison County Public Health Nurse for 10 years, retiring in 1961. Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wright Memorial Chapel at Franklin United Methodist Community. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the chapel.

Lifelong Hope resident Pearletta G. Hitchell Columbus Pearletta Gruhl Hitchell, 89, a resident of Hope until six months ago when she moved to Columbus, died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center. Undercover officers conducted surveillance Bobby Nolan's house Friday, where "Sabu" was a regular visitor Officers watched "Sabu" enter home and leave a short time later. He was apprehended as he walked down 10th Street.

Nearly $850 in cash was seized from him. Police detectives returned to residence and arrested Bobby an outstanding warrant. A search of the home found one-half ounce of cocaine The drug, which had a street value of about $1,500, was individually packaged and ready for sale, officer said. Sabu has ties to drug trafficking in Indianapolis and Chicago, officer said, adding local police have made additional buys from him and are waiting for warrants to charge him with those counts.
