53rd Murray, who died Monday in a Murray hospital, will be Thursday at noon in the Murray Fifth Ward Chapel. native of Callao, Juab County, Mrs. Grogan was born Dec. 18, 1905, to Otto G. and Elvira Rolwand Kearney.

Sh married J. Mark Williams March 12, 1924, in Price and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He died Jan. 2, 1951 She then married Robert A. Grogan Dec.

10, 1952, in Murray and he died Jan. 10, 1968. Mrs. Grogan was a member of the DUP and the Auxiliary to the World War I Veterans. She was also active in the Relief Society of the IDS Church.

Survivors include three sona and one daughter, Hal K. Williams, Anchorage, Alaska; Joseph J. "Jack" Williams, Galtherberg, Kenneth M. Williams, Downey, Mrs. Paal (Pat) Baldauf, Palmyra, N.Y.; stepdaughters, Mrs.

Bill (Joyce) Coulter, Rivertson; Mrs. Stephen (Nancy) Reeder, Murray; 24 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers and one sister, Darrol Kearney, Glen Kearney and Mrs. Leo (Frances) Giannini, all Portland, Ore. Friends may call at 4760 S. State tonight from 6 to 8 o'clock and Thursday one hour before services.

Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Sarah A. Halgren ONTARIO, Calif. Funeral services for Sarah Alice Halgren, 87, Ontario, who died Saturday of causes incident to age in an Ontario hospital, will be Thursday at 2 pjn. at 260 E.

South Temple, Salt Lake City. She was the mother of Dr. Joseph D. Halgren and Mrs. Clinton B.

(Ann) Wiest, both of Provo. Mrs. Halgren was born Oct. 20, 1884, in Cambridge, to Charles and Lucy Drake Aldous. She married Joseph Halgren June 30, 1914, in Ogden and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temnle.

He died April 6, 1951. She was a member of the IDS Church. Mrs. Halgren was a practical nurse. She was also a member of the DUP.

Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Dr. Joseph D. Halgren and Mrs. Wiest, both of Provo; Mrs. Russell E.

(Edna) Larson, Union City, Leon A. Halgren, Salt Lake City; David A. Halgren, Ontario; Mrs. Tom (Alice) Roberts, Taylor, 21 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren. Friend3 may call at 260 E.

South Temple, Salt Lake City, Thursday one hour before services. Burial will be in the Ogden City Cemetery. Zetta H. Larson LONG BEACH, Calif. -Funeral services for Zetta Hafen Larson, 88, Long Beach, who died May 8 in Long Beach, were held May 10 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.

Burial was in Green Hills Memorial Park. She was a native of Springville, being born Oct. 23, 1883, to John and Thora Tweede Hafen. She married David Larson in Salt Lake City and they lived in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Hawaii and California. He died several years ago.

Mrs. Larson was a charter member of the Hafen-Dallin Art Club in Springville. She was a member of the IDS Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Anna Patten, Hermosa Beach, Mrs.

Homer (Delia) Norris, San Jose, two brothers and one sister, Joseph Hafen and Fred Hafen, both of Provo; Mrs. Glen (Rachel) Beutler, Springville. Mrs. Beutler attended the funeral services. The program will feature German Tenor Hanskarl Schade and his accompanist Verna Lee Anderson. Mr. Schade is a native of Dresden, Germany and was a national favorite of opera and concert. Because of his ability as a vocalist, he was subsidized by the German government to study in Italy under the direction of some of the greatest vocal instructors in the area. He maintained national prominence until he and his family came to the United States after World War n.

Mr. Schade lives in Salt Lake City and teaches there and at Weber State College in Ogden. He will be featuring a varied program including works by Leencavallo, Schubert, Schumann, Grieg, Donizetti and Verdi, and selections from the operas "L'Elisir d'Amore," "Faust," and "Aida." In addition to accompanying Mr. Schade, Verna Lee An-, derson will give several piano solos. She is a native of Pocatelio, now living in Salt Lake.

She is the former Miss Pocatelio and runner-up to Miss Idaho. Rotary Confab Slated The annual conference of I Rotary District 542 will begin Thursday at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. Several Utah County residents will take active parts at the conference Satur day. Judge Merrill Hermansen, Orem, Third District Juvenile Court judge, will discuss "Our American Approach to Dealing wih Children in Trouble," ac cording to Charles H. Stratford, district governor.

E. Stephen Thomas, president of the Interact Club of Provo High Schcol, will be a Saturday morning speaker on "A Meaningful Purpose to In teract." A graduate student in microbiology at Brigham Young University, Graciela Benito Pozzo of Bolivia, will talke Saturday on "International Goodwill Applied." Abdul M. Suleman, president of the Rotaract Club at BYU, discuss "Organizing Youth for Community Service." A student panel from theYouth Center of the Utah State Hospital Provo will air the subject, "Youth Speaks Out." Dr. Eugene J. Faux and Glen Brown will be moderators of the panel.

Gen. Lewis Hershey, head the Selective Service for 34 years, will be the speaker Saturday night ct the Governor's Banquet. Kyozo Yuasa of Tokyo, Japan, a director of Rotary International and a legal advisor Gan. Douglas MacArthur during the occupation of Japan, will speak at the International Banquet on Friday evening. Twenty exchange students from foreign lands will be special guests, including Maria Los Angeles Hezama Fuentes Mexico, who is living in Springville; and Miss Pozzo of Bolivia, who is now living in Provo.

A group of six men from Argentina, visiting the U.S. under the auspices of Rotary Foundation, will also be conference guests. He was the brother of Kenneth J.

Morrison of Provo. He was born Sept. 7, 1930, in Murray, a son of George Charles and Florence Bell Willden Morrison. Survivors include one brother, Kenneth J. Morrison, Provo; half-brothers and half-sisters, William L.

Fern Warner, Temple City, Mrs. Erma Fowles, Crescent City, Mrs. Hazel Smith Springfield. Lewella F. Anderton Funeral services are pending for Lewella Chloe Fullmer Anderton, 83, Provo, who died Monday in a Provo convalescent center of causes incident to age.

Mrs. Anderton was born Oct. 18, 1888, in Annabella, Sevier County, to James Dicken and Mary Ann Babcock Fullmer. She married Albert Roy Anderton March 21, 1906, in Salt Lake City and he died April 8, 1965. Active in the IDS Church, Mrs.

Anderton was Relief Society president, teacher in MIA, genealogy teacher. She was a practical nurse. For many years Mrs. Anderton lived in Dugway. Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Albert O.

Larabee LAS VEGAS, Nev. Stella Pearl Hamilton Larabee, 52, died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Neola, Duchesne County, to William David and Cora Beal Hamilton. She married Norman J.

Larabee Nov. 18, 1936, and the marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Survivors include her husband, Las Vegas; one son and five daughters, Mrs. Ike (Joan) Carter, Arizona; Mrs.

Ben (Gayle) Holyoak, St. George; Mrs. Douglas (Phyllis) Wilkinson, Salt Lake City; La Vee Larabee and Pamela Larabee, both Las Vegas; Norman Dee Larabee, Provo; her mother, Lehi; three brothers and five sisters, Morgan Hamilton, Goose Bay, Willis Hamilton, American Fork; Allen Barbieri, Midvale; Mrs. Charles (Norma) Brackenbury, Moab; Mrs. Larry (Donna) Staley, Salt Lake City; Mrs.

8th Orem, died Tuesday of a lingering illness at the Utah Valley Hospital. He was born Dec. 10, 1892, in Kanab, Kane County, to Samuel B. and Saraa Ann Potter Shumway. He married Velate Aston on Jan.

19, 1916, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Shumway was a dairyman and fruit farmer. For many years he was on the board of directors of the West Union Water Co. He was a High Priest and home teacher.

Survivors include his widow, Orem; two sons, Arlo B. Shumway and Verl A. Shumway, both of Orem; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, William Shumway and Afton Bumingham, both of Orem; Pearl Anderson, Burley, I Beatrice Draper, Provo. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Vineyard Ward Chapel.
