10 Porlf Nev. Candidates planning last-minute efforts By The Associated Press Most major Texas candidates are saying they will find the time for some last- minute campaigning after casting their own ballots Tuesday. Then comes the hard part, waiting for the returns. Democrat John Hill, seeking the Texas governorship for the next four years, will vote about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home precinct then fly to Houston, San Antonio and McAllen for one last chance to round up voters.

Hill will be at the historic Driskill Hotel in Austin Tuesday night to wait results.
