To begin with, its enormous terraces overlook the most sensational view of Central Park and skyline that I have- ever seen.

But It's when you Faye Emerson step inside that you're bowled over. At least, I was. None of that tweed and paneling bit for "The Greatest." Every where you look there is velvet, brocade and satin, ail in brilliant colors that somehow relate to each other, elegant Chinese screens, beautiful porcelains, etc. After a little refreshment to tide me over this initial shock, Jackie said, "Baby, you ain't sn nothing yet!" And he was right, I was tl( vi shown the bedroom of tne master. Actually it ws more like I was presennsl to it, it's 'that fancy.

Vciuh velvet draped, my dear the whole room, including the bed. I got a mental picture of Ralph Cramden in that bed and got the worst case of giggles I've had in years. All this elegance doesn't seem' to affect our boy's way of life, however. The place was a madhouse. People were streaming in and out very few out, actually i press, and quite a few I never did identify.

4 What was the occasion for all this action and hilarity? Why, kiddies, it's just the usual quiet afternoon over at Jackie Gleason's.
