Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of Harry L. Towe, at 92, had served in Congress PATRICKJ.DE RISI 84, of Jersey City, whose brother lives in FREEHOLD, died Friday at St. Francistfos-pital, Jersey City. He was a railroad worker in Hunts Point, N.Y., 18 years ago.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Senior Citizens of Jersey City, and the Crusaders of St. Lucy, Jersey City. He was born in Jersejf City and was a lifelong resident of Jersey city. Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Boyd; two sons, Patrick J.

Sewaren, Woodbridge TownshipMJid Nicholas East Brunswick Township; one brother, Harry DeRisi, Freehold, and seven grandchildren. McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City, is in charge of arrangements eH JOSEPH EGGLESTON, 71, of eatontown, formerly of Red Bank, died Friday at home. He was a former physical education teacher in the'Red ago. He was a member of the Hackensack Golf Club, J. Bar Association, and a member of American Legion, Rutherford, and Masonic Lodge, Rutherford.

His first wife, Eliza Binns, died in 1965, and his second wife, Janet Volk, died in 1987. Surviving are two sons, Harry B. New Orleans, and Jerome D. Hockessin, Delaware; a daughter, Virginia T. Beck, Mantoloking; a stepson, Robert J.

Volk, Vermont; four stepdaughters, Janet Schmidt, Florida; Maurie Benton, Old Greenwich, Conn; Margaret Misner, West Milford, and Anne Brucher, Bethel, N.Y.; a brother, Jerome and a sister, Isabel T. Bates, Southbury, nine grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren. Volk Funeral Home, Teaneck Township, is in charge of arrangements. ANASTASIA SUSAN BULEY, 81. of Tennent, MANALAPAN TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Englishtown. She had been employed by RCA Harrison, before retirement. She was born in Newark and lived in Manalapan Township for the past 35 years. She was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Kovacsofsky Weber. Her husband, William Buley, died in 1980.

Surviving are two brothers, Michael J. Shumila, Hamilton Township, and Paul Shumila, the Ukraine; a sister, Anne Haveron, Englishtown, and several nieces and nephews. Hulse Memorial Home, Englishtown, is in charge of arrangements. AUDREY A. BURKHARD, 54, of New Monmouth, MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, died Friday at home.

She was born in Long Branch, had lived in East Keansburg, and moved to New Monmouth 27 years ago. Her husband, Ronald A. died in 1989. Surviving are a son, Ronald A. Mobile, two daughters, Nancy Atwater, Willingboro, and Linda Dom-bi, Groton, two brothers, Paul and Ray Comar, Florida, and a sister, Delores Corn, Neptune City, and a grandchild.

Scott Funeral Home, Bel-ford, Middletown, is in charge of HARRY TOWE, 92, of lake- WOOD, a former congressman, died Friday at his home. He was a member of the House of Representatives from 1940 to 1950. He was a member of the law firm of Conk-lin, Smith, and Towe, of Rutherford. He was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and was appointed a U.S.

Commissioner in 1930. He was assistant prosecutor of Bergen County in 1931. He became Bergen County Prosecutor in 1951. He served on the Armed Services Committee in Congress and he introduced the Universal Military Training Bill in Congress. He was general counsel for Medical Economics in Oradel.

He had a private law practice in Rutherford until his retirement several years ago. He was born in Jersey City, lived in Rutherford and Smoke Rise, before moving to Lakewood three years WILLIAM CMC COY, 77, of MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Friday at home. He was a communicant of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Lake-hurst. He was a member of the Western Electric Club, Kearny; the Pioneer Club of Holmes Chapter, Toms River; the Knights of Columbus of St.

Peter's Roman Catholic Church, the Ocean County Polish Club of Manchester Township, and the Man chester Seniors of Whiting. He was an Army World War II veteran. He was an electrical technician for Western Electric Kearny, for many years retiring in 1978. He was born in Jersey City and lived in Belleville before moving to Manchester 11 years ago. Surviving are his wife, the former Natalie Masluk; four daughters, Kathleen Romano, Manchester; Maria Ger-nitis, West Milford Township; Patricia Bank school district.

His most recent employment was with Bendix, Eatontown. He was an Army World War II veteran. He was a member of the OMEGA'S. He was a football player at Red Bank High JUL M.JlL,.1 School and Morgan State University, EGGLESTJ Maryland. He was born in Cumberland County, and lived in the Red $ank area for 64 years.

Surviving are his three sisters, Elfen Clark, Theresa Glover, and Blaiicie Monroe, all of Red Bank; three nieces and two nephews, and a friend, Be'slSe Fishburn. Cofer Memorial Home, in charge of "5 23 li'A a be.it IS 1 home. She was born in Closter and lived in the North Jersey area before moving to Whiting in the late 1970s. Her husband, Wesley Judson, died in 1976. Surviving are a son, George, Germantown, a brother, Herman Schmidt, Florida; three sisters, Clara Schmidt, Whiting; Amelia Butler, Massachusetts, and Etta Boelsche, St.

Petersburg, two grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Anderson Campbell Funeral Homes, Whiting, is in charge of arrangements. SUSAN ROSE LAYTON, newborn, of WARETOWN, died Jan. 12 at Point Pleasant Hospital. Surviving are her parents, Jack and Mary, Waretown; two sisters, Jyl and Jacqueline, both at home; her maternal grandparents, Rose and Robert Clayton, Toms River, and her paternal grandparents, Wilda and Richard Stumbaugh, Marion, Pa.

Layton's Home for Funerals, Forked River, Lacey Township, had charge of arrangements. JOHN M. LEENSTRA, RIVER, died yesterday. He was a supervisor with the Curtis Wright Aeronautics Division, for 43 years before retiring in 1982. He was an Air Corps World War II veteran and a member of Arrowhead Memorial Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Brick Township.

He was born in Paterson and lived in Fair Lawn before moving to Toms River eight years ago. Surviving are his wife, the former Beatrice Van Loo; a son, Richard Hudson, Ohio; a daughter, Barbara Biernacki, Mahwah; a brother, Kenneth, Burlington, Vt, and six grandchildren. Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff Township, is in charge of arrangements. LLOYD J. LORENZ, 79, of toms RIVER, died yesterday at his daughter's home in Toms River.

He was a machinist at Bay Machines, Toms River, before retiring in 1976. Prior to that he was the owner of Lorenz's Bakery, East Hanover Township, until 1967. Mr. Lorenz was born in Staten Island and lived in East Hanover before moving to Toms River 22 years ago. His wife, Gertrude, died in September 1990.

Surviving are three daughters, Marie Pelican, Forked River, Lacey Township; Veronica Tompkins, Toms River, and Suzanne, New Hampshire; a brother, Clinton, Florida; a sister, Grace Hudson, Florida, and seven grandchildren. Layton's Home for Funerals, Forked River, is in charge of arrangements. JOSEPH J. MCCARTHY, 61, of JACKSON TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at home. He was a salesman employed by American Vans, Lakewood, for the last two years.

Prior to that he worked for Warranty Headquarters, Lake-wood, for several years. He was an Korean War Army veteran. He was past president of the Jackson Rotary, a former member of Jackson Fire Company 1 a member of the Jackson Community Players, former manager of the Hol-brook Little League, Jackson, a graduate of the City College of New York of 1960 and was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson. He was born in New York and lived in Finderne, Bridgewater Township, until moving to Jackson in 1965.

Surviving are his wife, the former Nancy Buck, two sons, Douglas Jackson, and Donald Colorado Springs, three daughters, Joan Gilmore, Kissimmee, Susan Shi-flett and Donna Scattergood, both Elk-ins, W.Va.; one brother, Edward, New York; two sisters, Eleanor DeMascolo and Patricia Oko, both Ocala, and 14 grandchildren. He was a member of I the Bamber Lake Volunteer Fire Com- pany. He was born in Wilmington, and lived in Lacey for the past 35 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Germaine Gale; a son, Herbert Cal-', ifomia; two stepsons, Richard Evans, Forked River, Lacey, and Donald Ev-; ans, Texas; a daughter, Ruth Weber, Pennsylvania, and a stepdaughter, Jean Burbol, Forked River. She was a communicant 1 of St. Pius Roman Catholic Church, Forked River, and a member of Deborah Hospital's Pine Shore Chapter. Mrs. Cordasco was born in Italy and came to this country in 1918. She lived in Irvington and moved to Forked Riv- er in 1977.

Her husband, Alfonso, died in 1989. Surviving are three sons, Jennaro, 1 West Caldwell; Nicholas, Barnegat Township, and Ernest, Forked River; a brother, Thomas Rajioppi, Randolph Township; a sister, Lena Apicello, Vaux Hall, Union Township, and six grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Salva-t tore; two sons, John, Summit, and Christopher, Tampa, three daughters, Claudia Jones, Annandale, Linda Caivano and Rita Von I Pusch, both Tampa, and eight grand-; children.
